🙌 Thank you so much! Going to amp up the camp this summer, both here and out... once this hammock's in a muscle memory spot, maybe even combine some canoeing into the mix! 🌲
If you're still in the hammock when you wake up in the morning then I think it's a success. Bonus points if the hammock is still in the air. Fun video, thanks for putting it together.
😆Glad you liked it! Cannot believe I didn't read the instructions on that... and when I was editing the video ALL that was visible to me was the perforated circle that I was supposed to tear out... 🤣🤣🤣 Oh well, it was still tasty!
Most stumbled across this video - new subscriber. Love the humour. I’m a Hennessy hammock camper and it does take a while to get the hang of it. I swapped out the suspension system for straps with cinch buckles, and with the snake skins, my setup is literally five minutes to “sleep ready”. Hang in there - pun intended. Cheers from Ontario!
Ahoy ahoy! Thanks for subscribing, and glad you liked the video (just finishing up one now on some tree transplanting... have to get the chores done so I can go camping lol). I've heard of a few people swapping out the suspension system - and thinking I might go there myself after I get used to the setup a touch more. Totally would LOVE to get that five minute setup in place. Also, anyone who tosses a pun my way is top notch in my books! Cheers!
Love the video, entertaining as always, good enjoyable time out, hats off on the hammock set up and sleep, I would end up spun like a cocoon side to side sleepzies, nice fire too, thanks for sharing and good filming in the dark.
The bugs were just starting, can't believe I'm firing up a Thermacell this early in the year but here we are. 🦟🦟 Totally need to get more practice in the hammock, but cocoon is the perfect description! Glad you liked the video!🏕
Great video J, glad you got out for a night, Thanks for the shots of the lantern, I could hear it from here! look up "old town Colman" on here, his name is frank and used to work for colman, lots of videos to learn from. And the popcorn? well, thanks for the laugh! jiffy is the best by a fire! cheers Greg
I will definitely look up Frank, and see what I can gather there. Have a couple of old stoves I need to bring back to life, as well as some other lanterns so totally need the education on that. Thanks for the knowledge Greg, going to put it to good use!
Nice burger montage there eh 😂 I got that same Coleman lantern (and the same case too) I've had it for forever and it does the same thing every time. "fwamp" 🔥 great video man, Cheers!
🍔 Campsite Whopper for the win! Going to use that until I get a cease-and-desist from BK 🤣... I just overhauled that lantern out not less than 6 months ago, and barely any use since, but from what I've heard the tiniest little spider or web can be the trouble there. Nothing quite as unsettling as hanging a flaming torch on cedar trees solo in the woods😆. Love that lamp case though! Glad you dug the video! Thanks for hanging out🌲
🙌 Thank you! I don't mind the odd mud, we do search it out on the trails off property, there's a few spots that folks have built just for it. But the jeeps and sideXsides are the ones who really take advantage of that. We're snorkel free at the mo.
Thank you! It's on our property, and a few years back I came across a sort of semi-ish clearing in the woods and started taking down a few select trees (documented parts of it here: th-cam.com/video/EJFz2rQ0dIc/w-d-xo.html) I absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE the aesthetic of Ontario Provincial Parks campsite firepits, and with a lot of digging found out who made them. Called in an order to the manufacturer and drove about 5 hours in total (with a stop at Bass Pro) just to get one. My wife thinks I'm rather nuts for that one lol. From there, it's been adding little things; trying a touch of bushcraft with the leanto woodshed. Took our old picnic table out there on the trailer, but it needs work.. All in though it's just a lovely little spot to camp when you can't get away for more than a night (and with the reservations at the parks these days, it's so hard to even get a spot).
Great video. Enjoy the camping videos.

J, great video. Could you explain how this campsite works? Is this on your property or do you just run your wheeler onto Crown land?
