I just wanted to let you know, Kurt, that I had a friend come to me last summer wanting to get in to hammock camping. I don’t personally own any of your stuff but from research recommend a Redtail to her and hooked her up with Shug on TH-cam. She loves that hammock !! Thanks for making stuff better than that outfit that rhymes with Beano that’s within a competitive price range.
Annual event? Every think of having a big hammock hang for New Years? We are here in the Lehigh Valley and have been "jealous" of the guys out west who get together for those Frozen Butt Hangs. Camp chairs, Hoagies, relaxed walks, we are from the same club but different chapters..LOL
Dan and I were out with our Redtails too. I am thinking about taking some IPAs on a trip. Love them. I had the Ugly Sweater from New Trail before Christmas, knocks ya on your ass. 11.7%Alc😊. We woke up to a nice dusting of snow. I like your videos. Maybe one day we can get out on a trip together!
Awesome! Nothing better than bringing the new year camping. I don't usually bring beer on the trail, but for something short like this on a holiday... I figured why not. It would be cool to meet up on trail.

I think this year I want to get comfortable with my solo tent, 2025 I will have to try using a Hammock system.
It's all what you feel comfortable in. I'm just so comfortable in a hammock in the winter, I can't even think about ground dwelling in the cold... lol
