I wanted to post a comment of success with a 2011 Dodge Grand Caravan. I too, had an intermittent blower before it stopped with power still going to the climate control. Initially thinking it was a resistor but ordered a new climate control panel from eBay for 50 bucks, needed to because the dials and buttons were getting old, you know. Then when that didn't work I ordered a $21 replacement resistor without even testing the old one so I still don't have a blower fan. Honestly can't believe a circuit board was left to supplying the power through a fuse to the resistor, it could have cost me hundreds to get that diagnosed or taken care of but I was able to do it with the help of this video.

Nice fix! awesome that you gave the customer an alternative! Thanks for sharing!
Thanks for watching!
Another great video Brother, my opinion your audio is fine it’s just the music that you put in. It’s too loud, so just turn that down when you add it to the video and I think you’re good, and also I would like to say for the amount of subscribers you have. I think you have quite a few loyal subscribers. That’s pretty awesome.
Thanks for the tip; I will try that!
The TH-cam farmers call that a temporary permanent fix. Good stuff.
Yup, Thanks for watching!
fantastic video for the DIY person .. gonna reconfigure my hot wiring for my blower motor to this
Great video I'm having the same issue. But on top of that, I got a horn going off randomly. I believe that is in tipm as well. But the weird one is that when I hit look button on the fob the front door doesn't lock. I was gonna get an actuator. But later that night the hatch wouldn't unlock then the next day it did lol. These tipms are trash there is no benefit to having a fuse box with fuses that can't be replaced. $2000 for something so simple. It would be hard for me to believe this wasn't designed to fail. Oh yeah, the right turning signal flashes quickly as if it were out but it's not. I got robbed over the weekend on this vehical.
Power probe is a nice tool to own, I had one for few years and love it! Great job, your channel is doing great!!
Thanks 👍
Gonna try this on the wifes van. Mind blowing how much a new tipm is
Perfect. I had to do the same thing on a TIPM on a 3500 Ram. Left it for a permanent repair.
Yup, I assume that's what gonna happen to this one too. 😉
Another good fix and troubleshooting. Thanks for sharing 👍
Thanks for watching!
Just had to do this to my caravan, thanks for the advice
Glad it helped!
Awesome diagnosis and workaround
Thank you! It always scary posting workarounds on TH-cam 😅
Really enjoyed the diag. I have an old Vantage also. And I still use it. The power probe and the wire piercing tools r sweet also!!
Thanks for watching!
The safest way to do this is use a simple 4 pin relay with control from ignition that way no worries about parasitic draw.
That is a great idea!
Beautiful job. I actually understood almost everything!
Thanks! Glad you liked it!
How many years have you been reading wiring diagrams? You’re extremely fast at it
Around 5 years, Thanks.
Good temporary fix which we all know will likely be permanent. Only thing I would have done different is cut the wire so it could not backfeed into the TIPM. Many of these parts are getting hard to source at any price so we need to get creative for sure.
Great point. I should have cut the wire. I'll tell the shop next time it's in for service. Thanks!
Thank you I need this video 👏🏽
Thanks for watching!
Excellent work but can I make some constructive critisism?
please get a better microphone. Your voice is quiet and comes across like your mumbling at times so the volume gets turned up so I can hear you but when your title music comes on it nearly blows the windows out!
I appreciate the feedback! I have a better microphone. I just never figured it out yet; I will work on it for future videos.
@@advancedleveldiagnostics Thanks I don't like to sound negative because your videos are good apart from the sound.
I have a 2018 dodge grand caravan gt ….recently have this issue….in the process of ordering all the needed relays Fan Module Control fuses and relays temperature sensors….under the passenger side fuse box relays …a few fan control module relays located on the fan shroud …. All necessary fuse kits this vehicle is real tricky and sensitive….everything is patched into the pcm system Amazon will have everything at lower cost then local auto parts …but for those on a very cheap budget …head to your local pick a part junkyard ….salvage yard ….good luck ….
Another good video. Getting the customer out of a bind is always good for business. Question, is the graphing meter you are using a Snap On product? Thanks
Yes, it's the Snap on MT2400. They stopped making it a long time ago. I got mine used on eBay. I like that it has a regular automotive 10 Amp fuse, it's my go too tool for parasitic draw testing. It also uses standard D batteries so you don't have to worry about rebuilding old batteries.
Just subscribed u covered both ways for parasitic draw not knowing I need to ask Will there be any temporary drive ability problems? CHEERS
Thanks for watching! There were no drivability issues as far as I was able to tell.
Great video
Thanks!
great vid, why did you think that testing amperage across your fuse may not prove that there is no draw
Because I was more worried that the constant power would keep modules alive than it actually drawing power. Thanks for watching!
good work!
Thanks for watching!
👍👍👍

Thanks for watching!
What size fuse did you use?
I don't remember, If I had to guess I would say 30 amp.
What are you doing
intro music much too loud... not good to gather subscribers
Yes I changed it on the later videos.
Just put a voltmeter on it
Why are you making this thing so complicated oh my God just freaking serious
