First of all thank you so much for sharing the gift we just called Elvis Presley to the current generation I truly appreciate that he is my biggest idol But honestly you are gorgeous beautiful blue eyes long blonde hair your voice is amazing I’m hooked you are special
In 1982 in Manchester England I saw elvis as a six year old on the tv and that was it.My mother was a massive elvis fan very stauch and bless her she still is at 73 years of age.In 2000 I visited Graceland it was all I expected and more. They'll never be another like the man.
Elvis singing Bridge Over Trouble Water is a very very great sound really shows his vocal capacity the highs the lows his voice range is awesome ! Love this song to he performs wonderful
You are one of my favorites to watch on reaction videos well Elvis reaction because I'm a huge Elvis fan been all my life you show him so much respect that he deserves the greatest entertainer ever I have a request I would like to see you react to walk a mile in my shoes I'm 1970 live version it's where he has the poem before the song Thank you so much for your respect for Elvis I'll keep watching
Hi Dani. First of all congrats on reaching the 4000 mark. Awesome! Your comment on the rapport and connection between Elvis and drummer, Ronnie Tutt. In an interview Ronnie said that one thing that helped him land the gig was that he paid close attention to Elvis's moves during the audition and followed him accordingly. I think the entire groups eyes were probably riveted on Elvis throughout the performances. Thanks for another great reaction.
Elvis drummer is Ronnie Tutt. He worked with Elvis from 1969 to Elvis's death in 77. Ronnie Tutt in an interview that he said. To play for Elvis it was like playing to a stripper. He had to watch elvis's every movement. But as you can tell they did work great together
Love Elvis and this is a fun and get you going song and while Elvis was still relevant to music, and still cared and truly before the drug's took there toll.,so missed .
His drummer, Ronnie Tutt is the reason I ever picked up drumsticks as a 10 year old back in the late 70s, (as you can see from my covers of him on my own TH-cam channel). He has stated in many interviews (as well as emails with me) that that visual connection and watching Elvis and staying locked on him is what got him the job in the first place. He even went so far as to study karate to be able to learn how to anticipate where Elvis might go next with a move. Elvis fed off the band's energy, but he also directed it with his whole body. Nobody does that anymore. It was like a whiplash shock wave that started with Elvis, entered the band through Tutt, spread throughout the band, focused back into Tutt, then back into Elvis and out to the audience in a split second. As a drummer, it's the perfect gig. Had to be awesome to be on that drum throne.
I’ve always liked Elvis but I’m certainly not an expert like many commenters here, but I want to add that I always really enjoy your sincere, thoughtful, in-depth Elvis reactions, Dani - thank you for them!
Hi dani ! I wanted to thank you for your heartfelt reaction to Elvis 68 special song "Memories". The comment section was turned off so I came here. Please thank your uncle Joey for sharing his memorabilia with us.It was a fantastic treat . What a precious memory for the young lady to meet him. I loved that so much...The song " Memories" always melts my heart too.It always has.....such a warm connection with his fans and it makes me think of the special memories we all have of Elvis....Thank you dani....you are so Interesting to listen to and also enjoy your enthusiasm !! I hope your power comes back soon. we all appreciate your effort to bring us this special video under such challenging circumstances....💐🌻😎🎵
Dani you hit the nail on the head, Elvis and Ronnie Tutt had a connection when Elvis first heard RONNIE beat those drums at the band audition it was meant to be. Elvis lead the way and Ronnie followed and it was a match made in heaven. Go girl keep rocking😏thankyou verymuch
Thanks Dani, that was great watching your reaction to this song by EP was really wonderful and, yes if it didn't make you to move, you might not be real!
Elvis is the only artist that could take a song and turn it into drums with best beats to dance too. Patch it up was one great song easy to dance to, if you couldn't move to this song you had a problem heart.
He was so great. I wish he had sung the songs from this period. The songs off The Elvis : That's The Way It soundtrack album were so great. After these shows In 1970, he should have done like this, I've lost you, I just can't help believing, how the web was woven, stranger in the crowd, twenty days and twenty nights, art in the morning, the next step is love, etc. He did do Until it's time for you to go a few more times thru the 70s. That was really the only one he kept doing from this album. I loved your reaction Dani. I might have already commented, but I don't care. I love it and love you so much Dani for being who you are.
Your reaction is great. You are really grooving to the song. Yes, this is a high energy Rock song, and Elvis is giving a super performance. I like that you notice a connection between Elvis and the drummer. You give a detailed commentary on his performance. You are very analytical. I like that. This film clip is more proof hat Elvis is the greatest entertainer. No one else could put on a performance like this.I was entertained by the song and your reaction.
Another wonderful video Dani - thank you. I always look forward to them. This was the final song to be recorded during the 'Nashville Marathon' and on the final day of 8 June 1970 in RCA's Studio B was. It was however this live version which was released on the TTWII album with the studio master mothballed for release at a later date firstly as a single release. It was this, the second and final live version that appeared in the original TTWII in 1970 from the 12 August Dinner show but has had the second verse edited out and even when included in ther 2001 re-edited version of TTWII still found itself heavily edited although the second verse was re-instated. You can see Elvis appears to be having lots of fun with it and the audience reception seems favourable. Patch It Up was to replace Suspicious Minds for the duration of this season but Elvis was not happy with the way it came across, so Elvis reinstated Suspicious Minds after opening night and this second live version would also be it's final rendition.
Love your reactions Dani! It looks like your ready to cut a rug during this song. It is so great to see the videos and how much you enjoy them as well. Thank you again for this video and the Hurt video. That is from June 19 1977 in Omaha. The video from two nights later in Rapid City show his voice even more powerfully than even this video. I can't wait to see your video Sunday! Congrats on the ever growing subscription list !!
The band was a millisecond behind. That’s the best they could do and that’s the way he liked it. The guitarists had to watch him too, he didn’t have a heart, he had nuclear power!
I don't understand, a singer like Elvis and more American you don't know, yet there are fans clubs all over the world, just in Paris there are 5 fans clubs, even in Japan, Australia all over the world , you're only finding out now it's crazy, the greatest singer in the world.
Yeah, there were two different videos playing at the same time. I don't why they did that, but if someone didn't know that, it could definitely leave them a little confused. Anyway, great song, great reaction.
Another great song and fabulous reaction! I’m reading one of the best books I’ve ever read and I think you will love it. It’s Elvis Presley, A Life In Music. The Complete Recording Sessions by Ernst Jorgensen, Forward by Peter Guralnick. Ernst worked for RCA, and dug through the basement finding all the original recordings of almost all Elvis’s sessions, even some home sessions, not done through RCA. For nearly a decade he has been the one who has put out all the box sets he coproduced for RCA. Look him up. I’ve had the book for several years, but thought it would be dry, more of a reference book, and didn’t read it. I’m so glad I finally have. Yes it goes through each recording session, gives each song which was recorded, which take was used, where the session was, what album or 45 it was on, all the musicians and singers, as well as times and dates. However for each one, he goes into depth talking about how the records which were being considered got to the recording session, and where there were problems. This is a huge part of Elvis’s world. I won’t go into it, but you should know how limited he was on the songs he was able to record, the movie sound tracks. He talks about society and where music figures in to society at different times, just so much fabulous information, all the people involved. How Elvis recorded, which early on, no one did it like he did. I ordered it from Amazon, buy fast, hardback or paperback used. Try other places too. Looks like this might be one of those they sell out of, then you have to pay a lot to get one. Looking forward to your next reaction. Look at Elvis is Back. That’s the first album he recorded when he returned from the Army. One of his best albums. “It’s Now or Never” and “Are You Lonesome Tonight?” Were two big hits.
You are right Dani about drummer Ronnie Tutt. An amazing drummer to hear live. I’m not a self proclaimed expert so I would recommend when you have the time to look up how Tutt got the job and how it changed his life. Elvis made such a difference to so many people around him. Peace
if you notice Elvis spends most of his time in live shows standing in front of the drummer that was according to the drummer Ronnie Tutt '' Elvis would stand there so he could feel the drums & I’ve always said it was like working for a stripper in the old days of vaudeville,” Tutt says. “
His drummer Ronnie Tutt said that in the last years leading up to Elvis death he would beat himself and the drums to death trying to motivate Elvis on stage to the point that he needed help getting off stage himself
