Hot rod mag had an article in early 90s saying the s10s will be the 55 to 57 chevys of the 21st century. U can do anything to them and are very plentiful

2 cool. Gota 87 shortbed with a Camaro 3.1 v6 and a 95 shortbed s10 with a 71 corvette stingray 300 hp. Both taken off the street and race them. Will never sell
that 1st they airbrushed the front bumper and air dam with the grill on that glass front nose. Most look like the blue one, just a black bumper painted. They actually brushed the bottom and bumper bolts in so it looks like the full bumper. how effin cool is that
I have a white 99 single cab with a fully built 5.3 on the bottle that Ceaser is tuning. Hopefully it should be over 850 rwhp when done, and can't wait to get her back on the streets..
Just curious a couple of the trucks there was this guy that would get behind them where the tailgate is and kind of like send them off as they started to do their burnout.why is that is there a reason behind that. is it like a tradition?

These S-10s are sweet! I'm in love with the early 80s body style. Working on restoring an '83 now. Not a drag build though lol. MAYBE someday. Also, how does that first guy open his door? Where is door handle? Unless did a Dukes of Hazard and welded his door shut. Filled the door handle spot with body filler I'm guessing. Great video nonetheless I love seeing these older s-10s custom built for racing

why do nitrous cars use someone to pull them up to the line? if you roll forward you should get there. Guess I'm picky but I've got a problem with boosted cars bumping in also. One of the first things on gonna put in mine with the electronics is that smooth stage box. You spend 5 grand on a streetcar, 50 grand on a race car suspension. So you pull up to the line with top of the line suspension. Know corner weight to the oz. comp/reb set perfect. But you have you bump timing set so long it's so violent that the car is bouncing off the ground and rocking like its doing jumping jacks. You let go of the button, car unloads, and it bounces blowing the tires off. I never understood that.
Damn were these all built by the same shop or something? They are all damn near identical minus the color and frame support stuff. All very clean though, makes me miss my s10 blazer I had back in the day
I have a street legal race built v6 that runs low 10s in the 1/8 mile on 87 pump gas. 1996 vintage. Electric fans are next mods coming. I can't drive it in the rain. Yes, I do jave excellent tites...that DOESN'T MATTER. I need a new auburn gear to relieve the GM locker so I can get traction All crank power...no nitrous or forced induction.
What sanction is this that would allow so many on the starting line???? Not safe. I wouldn't want them there. Talk about liability. They should know better!!!

Some cool trucks but some of them need to figure out that you don't need to purge half a bottle per run.
They may be purging to bring pressure of bottle down. To much pressure, can blow tires off.

He probly has fiberglass doors. Most guys that run them have a hole cut in the lexan door glass that u reach through to grab the door lever.
