I'll have my house payed off about 3 years after I bought it and be completely debt free by the time i'm 45. Because i'm child free. 40 years old here and not married. For years I did feel as if there was something wrong with me, and that I was lacking in that area until my dad told me, “please don’t feel as if you’re missing out by not having children.” “Because if you do it the right way like your mother and myself did, it’s hard work.” My 4 bedroom brick house is paid for in full (thanks mom and dad) and I live a fulfilling life by enjoying the work that I do, traveling whenever I want, working out, dining out, and being a dog mom to my beautiful pure bread German Shepherd. I don’t care who doesn’t like nor agree with my lifestyle. It’s mine.❤✨❤

One of the weirdest pieces of
"advice" I got about having kids was this: "If you wait until you're ready, you won't have them." I'm not sure that would be considered a good rationale for any other life decision. If you're the type of person who knows on a gut level you don't want to have children, listen to your instincts and don't let society pressure you into a lifetime commitment you don't want. You don't owe anyone an explanation, either.

The older I get, the more I realize that even if I decided that I wanted to have kids, much of the responsibility would fall on me. Grandparents would be busy living their lives. Children are expensive, a time commitment, and a lifetime commitment. The cost of living has gotten out of hand. Also, after living abroad and seeing the way children and families are treated in other countries (very well), I could never do that in the US (hello, maternity leave?).

I have been vegan for about 12years now and what the mentioned commenters sound like is getting onto a vegan channel and complaining about how one-sided it is, not talking about non-vegan perspectives. It never ceases to amaze me how people that are in “the majority” group with their lifestyle/preferences/choices and they just can not let people who want to live differently have their own communities/spaces where they can connect with like-minded people and not constantly have to explain or justify themselves they way they usually have to otherwise. I've seen extremely poor women who don't have a car or a house who were still teenagers just completely harrassed to get pregnant. I think this is an important discussion because in our state
poor woman are just to often harrassed into pregnancy because everybody gets pregnant I guess in our state wether they can afford
    it or not.
Theres so many single men getting women pregnant than angrily complaining about their partner got pregnant so they abuse the
    pregnant women and the child.
I think men who are angry about unwanted pregnancy and child support
should all get themselves fixed if they are so angry about it.
We all learned how pregnancy happens in schools but not
    getting pregnant just wasn't discussed.
I think all of these men in our states harassing women because
they got them pregnant need to stop doing domestic violence
because their furious they got their partners pregnant.
Young extremely poor women in our state who don't even have a house or q husband need to stop being
harrassed by other women to put a baby in their wombs.
So many times Ive seen teenagers harrassed about not being pregnant by other teenagers.

    Great video and agreed 👍🏻
Communication is everything and that's how people should date and get married to each for, the compatibilities they each have in common, not one changing for the other that's a total mess and so are the children topic, they're an option and already there are so many people across this world who just keep reproducing and they immigrate to other countries nonetheless, at least they're happy with their decision but unwanted children by their own parents is a real trauma that needs long time to heal and is very unnecessary when a person could've been living and giving out the things they want and love because good energies are needed and valued in this world, not images but the inside energies matter a lot and when one is relaxed and vibing they should be applauded and congratulated for in a world filled with people trying to fix things in a very messy way of alcohol, addiction, a child for loneliness when it's a new soul that needs to be responsible and taken care of all of its needs emotionally physically mentally and financially.
    You want it? Great
    You don't want it? Great
Just be responsible for your decisions and no need to change anyone, from the start get to know yourself properly to be able to meet people alike and put communication first and let each person share what they have and fully decide on their own then together if it's the same and if not the same then let go and let each find what suits them better and is more compatible.

I wish childfree would be aware that not every person is childfree by choice.

childfree means by choice while childless means not by choice.

@@Jean-nr5ch I don't know what you mean. Being childfree means you have chosen not to have kids because you don't want any.
Childless means either you have yet to have a child and want one later or you are infertile and can't have kids even though you want one. Simple as that.

Student loans lmao, it’s all part of the human conditioning. Go to school, get into debt. Pay off debt for the rest of your life.
I wish more people were awake.
I can go on TH-cam and learn the exact same crap for free… as I did.. I started two businesses without a degree or any schooling and am now on half a million a year. Work smart not hard.

I would say it depends what your career is. I got my degree in the healthcare field so you can't exactly learn that for free from YT and then go get a job.
