Egberto Gismonti's wonderful piece "Agua E Vinho" was originally written for piano, creating a classical guitar version out of it was a lot of fun! In the last part you might hear the influence from "Recuerdos de la Alhambra" from Francisco Tarrega... yes I love Tremolo :) Egberto Gismonti plays by the way piano as well as guitar and you should definitely check out all his other amazing pieces!
I would like to thank my teacher Thomas Fellow from Dresden who thought me a lot about arranging and gave me many ideas for this piece. And also thank you to my dear friend and mentor Stephan Werner for your continuous support and your open ear for everything I do.

Egberto Gismonti ha compuesto "Agua E Vinho" para el piano. Me gustaba mucho hacer mi propio arreglo de esta hermosa pieza. Podeis escuchar la inspiracion de "Recuerdos de la Alhambra" de Francisco Tarrega al final... si amo la technica del tremolo :) Egberto Gismonti toca piano y tambien la guitarra. Teneis que escuchar sus otros piezas tambien :)

As with Estas Tonne and his own unique style to Ana Vidovic with her classical dress and way of mentoring, Julia Lange, she has her own unique touch, and by her expressions, she is absolutely enjoying the tones, the timing, the mood ad the overall effect her music is having on us.

Egberto Gismonti nasceu em uma família de músicos em Carmo, pequena cidade do interior do estado do Rio de Janeiro em 5 de dezembro de 1947, filho de pai libanês, Camilo Amim, e mãe italiana, Ruth Gismonti Amim. Começou a estudar piano aos cinco anos. Ainda na infância e adolescência, seus estudos no Conservatório Brasileiro de Música já incluíam flauta, clarinete, violão e piano. Interessou-se pela pesquisa da música popular e folclórica brasileira, chegando a passar uma temporada vivendo com os índios no Xingu.

Unglaublich, so gespielt geht dieses Stück wirklich ins Herz. Die Fokussierung auf die melodische Quintessenz, fantastisches Timing (insbesondere die Pausen) mit einem wunderbaren Gefühl dafür, diesen zögerlichen Fluss der Melancholie so in Szene zu setzen, dass die Töne mich sofort tief berühren. Ich musste das gleich zweimal hintereinander anhören. Danke!

Hallo Julia, gutes neues Jahr. Da ich kein Facebook oder Instgram nutze, missbrauche ich das Video hier für meine Frage. Wie haltet ihr es in deinem Studiengang mit h oder b. Sagt ihr mal so, mal so? Oder ist es einheitlich. Wie halten es die Dozenten und wie ihr Studenten. Mir sind in letzter Zeit einige Äußerungen von jüngeren E-Gitarristen aufgefallen, die das deutsche h als falsch bezeichnen. Zu meinen Studienzeiten vor 30 Jahren hat die komplette Popularmusikabteilung der Hochschule noch h gesagt. Wie ist das heute in einem Studiengang wie deinem?

Die Tatsache ist dass die Top 10 Gitarristen und Gitarristinnen von heute haben alle enorme Talent. Zu sagen dass Julia eine von diese 10 ist, wuerde sachlich sein. Aber zu sagen dass Julia die BESTE ist von diese zehn, ohne die Anderen zu hoeren und analyzieren, ist NICHT sachlich.
