    For me, the most useful study material was Medina book series. If you want to learn professional, Arabic go study Medina book series from book one all the way to book 3.

    • @tsmeggroll3693
      @tsmeggroll3693 8 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      Yes if u complement it with Arabiyya bayna yadayk, because Madina books is all grammar and morphology and very lil application and practice! So if u do both alongside, Alhamdulillah

    • @tsmeggroll3693
      @tsmeggroll3693 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@IslamicallySpeaking 15 words per chapter is simply not enough to be very blunt! Lets say the whole series has 90 chapters, so u'll only learn around 1500 words after spending a good 8-9 months! And on top of it, you'll still struggle to grasp the lectures of scholars because all you learnt was purely textbook based and not much conversational! U need to learn Arabic the baby way, just how a baby learns the language! You should split ur focus in 60-40 rather i would say 70-30 with respect to vocabulary and grammar! Give 70% of your time learning words and rest 30% in going through grammar

    • @IslamicallySpeaking
      @IslamicallySpeaking 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @ nice advice. How should u study then other than the bayna yadayk books?

    • @tsmeggroll3693
      @tsmeggroll3693 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@IslamicallySpeaking As i said, u won't get any other book like Bayna yadayk. Even if u do get a book like it, u would struggle to find a teacher who has gone through that unheard book on the internet. The good part of Bayna yadayk is that its very famous and you can easily find its video explanations, solutions, etc etc!
      Secondly, what a beginner must do is, go through Madina book 1, get ur basics in place, then shift to the bayna yadayk series and start learning vocabs as if your life depends on it, just learn and practice, either by writing your own weird sentences or speaking to an arab if available or in the worst case scenario, conversing with chatgpt.
      For eg: U go through the lesson 3 of Bayna yadayk book 1, u write all the new words on a paper, then go on the internet, and look for the following of that words:
      If its a noun (ism)- Look for its plural
      If its a verb (f'il)- Look for its past tense, present tense, command, masdar, faail, and maf'ul
      Then write all these in a table form. Make one table for all the nouns and other for all the verbs!
      This way, you can extract the maximum benefit from the vocabs in the chapters and you'll learn what will help you to understand arabic instead of just learning grammar grammar grammar!
      Ultimately, put what u learn in practice, speak, talk to yourself in Arabic, write your daily diary or whatever you're thinking in arabic and get it checked by someone if possible! Its all about making mistakes and correcting them!
      I know it must sound difficult but believe me, once you get going, there's no going back Bi'idhnillah!
      For assistance in bayna yadayk, look for the playlist of al lisaan channel and dont forget to make your own tables of noun and verbs!

    Understanding Context: The key method emphasized for learning Arabic is to understand new vocabulary within context rather than relying on translations. This involves creating sentences that help convey the meaning of words, which enhances retention and comprehension.
    Teacher Guidance: Learning with the help of a teacher is crucial to ensure correct pronunciation, grammar, and usage. Incorrect learning can lead to fossilization, where incorrect information becomes hard to unlearn.
    Practice and Repetition: Consistent practice and repetition of sentences containing new vocabulary are essential. This helps reinforce the meaning and usage of words, making them easier to recall.
    Gradual Transition: Start with English-Arabic dictionaries like Hans Wehr and then gradually move to Arabic-Arabic dictionaries for deeper understanding and more advanced learning. This transition helps learners think and understand directly in Arabic.
    Cultural and Religious Context: Understanding Arabic in its cultural and religious context, especially through the Quran, Hadith, and classical Arabic poetry, is emphasized as a way to deeply connect with the language and its rich heritage. This connection enhances the overall learning experience and appreciation of the language.

I'm asking because one thing I keep noticing is that you have brothers who understand everything they read in islamic books and when listening to a scholar, but when they listen to the news, they only understand around 50%.
