Fencing. I remember hearing about that competition where I think the tip penetrated the mask. One of those horrific incidents that occur sometimes in sport that you don't forget. I like the additional back story in this series. It does raise the stakes.
Fencing. A really good episode for the reasons you said Alexa. I've not really watched the new series so I still think of the original Lt. Green but this version of the Lt. is just as good. 😎
Colonel White mark 2 seems to be more of a man of the people than the marionette, plus when this was first shown there was a competition where just before the episode started where they asked what Lt. Green's father's surname was.
Reactions to that entire series are already on the channel- it is the reason I know so much about everyone and am already a Captain Black fangirl right from episode one of this show :)
@@alexachipman Is that a fact? I first became a fan of "THUNDERBIURDS" back in the early 70's. My friend of more than 30 years is also a Sci-Fi fan. Since I'm tall & used to have jet black hair, he referred to me as Capt. Scarlet while I would refer to as Lt. Green, since he is Haitian.
New Captain Scarlet really knows how to tug at the heartstrings and makes the characters a lot more focused on.

2:32 - 2:41 - So the Mysteron agent have the same ability as The Hood.

I like both of them - my headcanon is that they are siblings and just never on duty at the same time 😂
Fencing! A great episode, Alexa, I liked it a lot. It's good when we get to know the characters' history and personality more.

Fencing. The writing keeps improving. New CS has better writing, old CS has physical puppets, models and explosions. Tough call...
I agree. And this longtime fan of Sci-i has the entire series in a DVD box set.
Hi Alexa. I'm a longtime Sci-Fi fan who recommends you catch the original ITC series from 1967-68.

In case you just started watching, heads up that next series covered after this one will be Stingray :)
@@alexachipman Really? Thank you so much for the information dear Alexa.
The follow up series to this has to be CAPTAIN PUGWASH!
Edit: fencing.
04:00 Engineering Emergency spotted 👀
03:12 Also, that fencing scene now got more disturbing to me with that tidbit of knowledge added to my brain.
