who else gets a gut-wrenching feeling in their abdomen when he sings? its like he pulls memories out of the crevices of my head and gives a voice to the me that didn't have one. it makes me want to cry honestly and I don't know if it's because it's so damn cathartic or just so damn beautiful. I feel like I'm not alone when listening to this and even though this song is presumably about an ex, I can't help but equate the lyrics to experiences that weren't even romantic, just times where a choice was taken from me or when I was in a bad place with no way out. needless to say, this is a new favorite of mine 👍
