Beyonce should have kept the line "And now i'm fading into black, why won't you over react" we all want that someone who meant so much to us to react when we're not as present as we used to be in their lives

the “fading to black” is a reference to Jay-Z who wrote the black album as a retirement piece and did a small documentary called “fade to black”

I remember being mesmerized when I first heard Beyonce sing this and the exact same thing is currently happening now knowing Kevin wrote this and singing so beautifully. SHOOK

i'll never forget when i first heard his ep in 2015, he was still such a baby artist, i loved coloring, pushing away, and come up short. holy crap, i had no idea he wrote my fav beyonce song, i knew it had something of his in the song (around the part, "even thats a test, constantly aware of it all", and "it don't hit me quite the same") but i thought i was tripping till i heard him right now and i can hear his voice in the beyonce track. wow. kevin garrett, you are amazing. thank you for sharing your talent.
