      Hands tend to be cleaner than gloves simply because people clean their hands more often than they replace gloves

      @@KevinKickChannel You're probably right but surgeons clean their hands so well I wouldn't be surprised if the gloves are more to prevent blood to blood infections more than regular hand germs. Either way I imagine new gloves from a box are a good standard precaution in both scenarios.

      Which is why I will never understand Fahrenheit your 32 is my zero but my 32 is your 90! In my head there's cold, nice, kinda hot, and f*cking hot. Cold is below 15c, nice is 15-30, kinda hot is 30-35, and 35+ is f*cking hot! But here in Australia our second lowest bush fire rating is "high" so you can understand why my "cold" is your 59

    • @ss11733
      @ss11733 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@callabeth258 interesting way to think about it! It's winter here right now... your "cold" 15c is 59f. it's a warm day here now at 36f/2.2c. all next week it will be around 20°f/-6.6c, and next Friday has a low temp of 8f/-13.3c.
      sub-0f would be -17.2c, and that's very cold! on a day that's around 0c I'll open a window for my cat, like today 🥰.
      if I opened my window when it's -6c out, all of the humidity would be sucked out of my house like a vacuum.

    Basically lower the pressure so much that the water boils off, and then freeze the remaining water less food.

    • @mtnbkr5478

      Other way-round. They're freezing the water first, and then sublimating it straight from solid to gas with the decreased pressure.

    My kingdom for a bushel of seedless strawberries. I absolutely LOVE strawberries, but like millions of Americans, I have diverticulosis, and so I can't have anything with seeds. For me, strawberries are 100% guaranteed to cause a painful diverticulitis infection. For the life of me, I can't understand why someone hasn't developed a seedless strawberry.

    • @anthyavila9726
      @anthyavila9726 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      That's already as small as those "seeds" can go. Seedless fruits are never truly seedless, their seeds are just undeveloped.

      Fun fact those pips aren't seeds, they're the actual fruit, which contain microscopic seeds of their own. The red stuff is an extracellular matrix. Same effect, different method. I'm sure that has no impact on divurticulitis but there you go.
