This setup would be amazing for HvZ here in VIC, as our fps cap is 110, and even with the 20cm barrel, hitting 150-160, thats our PvP cap at some events, so this blaster is the most versatile AEG i've ever seen.
@@FrontlineFoamBlastersI'm thinking more like an Airsoft or Gel Blaster AEG where you have a spring retainer you just rotate and remove. I guess similar to the Trion in Nerf terminology. But it would require a complete redesign.
This exactly what I needed to know before I bought a Sweetheart. I can play at 300fps but I also need to be in the 150;s ish range as well. - Thanks for this.
Thanks for the video, your work is always very interesting and informative. Being a long time fan of the Nerf Stampede, I would welcome some modern AEG's from the bigger blaster companies.
Thanks for another brilliant video🎉 Nipple shot is the favourite for sure 😂 This particular bcar should work better for accuracy 150-200fps as it spins the dart a bit more, but great to see it pushes the fps a bit lower in a low fps setting ❤ We may do another new version that has lower degrees of turns so better performance ❤
It's almost a pity that there isn't any clear segments in the tube body - that cylindrical cam must be beautiful to watch in motion, love the design of this thing.
How's the weight distribution with that short front end? Very backheavy or not that bad? I'd love to get this bad boy, now to find a distributor for Europe and knock 70% of the price off. I'd like me some aeg goodness, but at this pricepoint I'll just prime my springer myself
@@BradleyPhillipsYT Yea but i feel like it could be cool with the far distance with low fps. Also does the rate of fire increase with the lighter springload?
@@CosmiBearrate of fire is mostly tied to the gear ratio. What I did do though was use on 3S instead of 4S incase the spring doesn't have enough power to return the piston in time for the next shot.
@BradleyPhillipsYT Calls to ban gel blasters out, right. Karl Stefanovic from 9news was talking bad about them, and my local gel blaster store has been getting harassed from the media.
Great video of a very impressive blaster. Bit annoying that there's no way to get one here in NZ though. Frontline Foam USA wont ship built blasters (only kits), Foamwork wont ship the outside Aus at all. Yet i can import a challenger, wasp 76 or other AEG's like the CWK Edge no problem at all directly from china or the USA. Doesn't make much sense at all.

A simple barrel swap to go between your different fps caps. I just wish the spring was quick swap too.
@@BradleyPhillipsYTThumsbcrews? Would still be like 9 of them, but quicker?

it is really nice that you have done these experiments as it really helps us with lower FPS levels :) now I am even more interested in the Storm.
I love the term 'compact' and this would be my go-to blaster!

damn this is the coolest thing in the world! holding out hope for a mass-produced AEB that I can get in the UK 😢

If anything, competition would at least drive the price down
Thanks so much for this video! I primarily play 130 fps HvZ, so this definitely is making me consider the Sweetheart Storm

Thank you, I was thinking the same thing. I just bought a 10 degree bcar for lower fps, but wished that I could have gotten a 12 degree.

It would be cool to see the internals, though that would reduce the rigidity of the aluminium shell.
@@BradleyPhillipsYT definitely, pretty/functional/easy to manufacture are just too many criteria to juggle simultaneously, I’m just being greedy haha
Hmmmmm
@@BradleyPhillipsYTyeah the first thing i thought when i saw it was "wow what does its internals look like" lol
They should add a feature to the storm to beep when it runs out of ammo so you actually notice when the mag is empty
You'd want it to be optional because that could also tell your opponents you're out of ammo. 😂
@@BradleyPhillipsYTif they are using flywheelers they won’t hear shit anyways
The perfect cqb loadout
Definitely love the halo reference I enjoyed playing competitive on halo 3 as a rank 50!
I used to play at in-person LAN tournaments and win them in Halo 2
@@BradleyPhillipsYT definitely loved halo 2 and halo 1 for the campaign!!! Keep up the reviews!!
the halo sound effects 🤌
intressting would be, how much does the lower velocity affects the battery endurance
That why I'm loved Sweetheart FB1, got 2 unit
Is there an AEG blaster that uses full length darts? Free 3D print available preferably.
Aww, no mag dump with the drum mag! I bet the rate of fire is higher with so much less stress on the "gearbox" or whatever it uses in there
It could be slightly higher, though I swapped out the 4S battery for a 3S just incase the lower spring power caused PME like it can in Airsoft.
never thought id see the day where nerf would have functional recoil
I could listen to the nipple hit reaction on repeat. Hilarious.
What degrees was that BCAR on? Because I’d reckon you need something like 15 degrees or something to get a difference at that fps.
How does this compare to the colonel wasp 76 when it comes to noise?
Much quieter
Have you tested bambooing dz max darts or af pros?
Gen 1 Dart Zone bamboos are basically that. The green bamboo ones.

It’s definitely back heavy, but if you shoulder it or use a sling, you really get used to it.
The long 300fps version is a lot better balanced. The CQB version is rear heavy. It kinda feels like a bullpup without being one.
You should try it with Cheeto darts.
Too hard tip for most of the world

They're is a 50% off clearance sale going on at Tac Toys due to the dramas going in the the news here in Queensland right now.
Think I might be out of the loop, what drama is happening in QLD?

How do you swap the spring?
Foamwork Adelaide has a full disassembly and maintenance video on their TH-cam channel
What scopes do you use for nerf?
The one he is using now is an aimpoint m2
I wish the country I live in would let me get one they look so sick
Which country?
I need it

Foamwork will ship outside Australia, though you may need to message them first.
@@BradleyPhillipsYT That's good to know! thanks!!
We do ship assembled blasters all across the world actually.
This is a cool idea, but IS THAT A HOLOSUN ON A NERF GUN!?
Yes

Don’t you love watching videos about blasters you’ll never be able to afford? I sure do
we need more aeg's in the nerf community
like cheaper ones would be nice for ppl like me who dont have alot of money
Mass production would definitely help with that. The Storm has a pretty small team working on it.
If I was rich I would have both versions
In the past decades, airsoft won.
This year from now on, Nerf is TAKING OVER.
