He was not at his 100% I would think. Low RPM exits and slow shifting makes me think you are only showing the fastest recorded lap that isn’t necessarily the fastest the car (and the driver) can go. Am I wrong?

Not made like they were in the 90s. The what we call abusive shifts and driving the 90s cars could handle for years on end makes these newer ones grind, shred synchros and need replacing within months. The engines also cannot handle multiple track laps without heat issues.
