    The level of dedication is unreal bro. As a CB7 enthusiast I don't think I could've done it all over again after the sedan. Mad props to you.

    That is some serious dedication, with the paint/body work. I agree with you about just stopping the spread of the rust in the areas you don't see for now and worrying about proper paint later. I could see myself losing passion for such a massive paint project when that kind of work is so time consuming and the rest of the body is pretty much an empty shell, but first having a car that's actually drivable can do a lot for motivation when you decide to come back to it. It's for that reason that I'm doing my build in smallish, focused chunks to try to minimize the car's down time.

      Also, your engine mount issue: for the trans mount, an auto-to-manual conversion mount from Innovative will work, or you if you want a normal manual mount to work you'll have to drill out the spot welds on that auto bracket and weld a manual bracket in its place. For the rear mount, that big one that was in your coupe is just the active mount that came on I think all automatics and EX manuals to soften vibrations at idle, and it pairs with a taller "T-bracket" that bolts to the engine block. The subframe is the same in all CBs, so your Innovative rear mount will bolt right onto it. You just need the shorter manual LX/DX T-bracket, which you probably still have from your old car.

      Oh man thanks for the info. I was looking into the Hasport h22 mount kit for cb7 chassis. It comes with a weld on trans mount bracket, the only one I’m not sure about is if the driver mount will work on the f22 post mount

    they sell the auto to Manual mount. this way it bolts to the transmission and you do not have to cut off the chassis mount bracket. all the other mounts from the sedan will bolt into the coupe.

      @JaayPeeBuilt  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yeah I was seeing that but I kinda want to switch over to hasport… I love the billet aluminum mounts😅

      @@JaayPeeBuilt well you will have to buy a manual bracket to weld on to the body. I believe they still sell them new. Or get one from a junk yard. If the one in your white sedan is no good.

      @@AJIMPORTS the hasport h22 cb7 mount kit comes with a weld on trans bracket so I might run that

    I love your videos man! It’s been a lot of inspiration for me and a lot of useful information. I picked up a 92 cb7 4WS a couple months back, I’ve been collecting a parts for a few years now and I’m almost ready to start building it up! Thankyou for doing what you do!

    Good to see the progress is coming along man. I wish I prepped and painted my engine bay before dropping the engine in but I was short of time. Cool you’re gonna show the conversion to manual rack and pinion. I wanna do that in the future too. How did you like the itb’s? I heard they were kinda tricky to tune.
