Best dog I ever had. She loved everybody and everybody loved her ....she was also the cleverest dog we had ever had.....her only 'fault' was that she was a glutton! ...would eat almost anything going! We had to have her put down due to illness, aged 13 years 8 months....saddest day of my life....that was years ago and I still miss her so much.

Staffs are the funniest,loving,adorable,cuddly things ever and nobody should ever judge them because they are too amazing.I have one,she is 3 and without her my life would change so much!
And when you are in a confined space your staffy will really, really drop a fart. Ben (rip mate) was a walking gasbag that would could clear a room in 10 seconds flat. Staffies are very, very gassy but it's well worth it for the love and happiness they bring. And they make weird noises too, Ben would make this weird howl-bark-chatter which meant "I'm hungry." They are damn loving dogs full of life and happiness.

People, they are the biggest baby's ever! XD! Mine is 12, acts like a puppy, he'll get some socks, toilet roll etc come show you so you chase him, he'll play hide and seek with you (he's always the seeker), he'll randomly roll on his back and wiggle around, he'll do clumsy things like bang his head, fall over etc he'll see he made you laugh and he'll wag his tail and look happy that he made you happy. He's also scared of everything believe it or not, flys,spiders, the dark etc one time he got outside at night, he ran straight to our front door barking to get straight back in 😂They're one of the best things you can have in your life 😁

you might try vacuum him before you do the room. My old GS did that, turned out he loved to get some suction on his fur. We had to vacuum him first before we could clean up house.

Yes i can understand your grief i too lost my two staffies about 18 month ago within 3 month of each other to cancer, the worst part is having to take them to the vets to be put to sleep you feel so guilty, you feel you are betraying their love even though you know it;s the best thing to do. It still breaks my heart thinking of all the great times we had together. I still shed a tear staffies are wonderful dogs. Keep your chin up and always remember the good times you had with her.
John Last that day plays on a loop in my mind, you must remember how intelligent they are and although you feel guilty they would've tried to tell you that its okay and that they were at peace with it being their time, when we knew that she knew and was okay with what was going on (although we were of course completely broken) our last day together also plays on a loop in my mind, she ate like a queen and was in the company of her family, i tried to record as much of her that i could, i stayed with her the whole night because i wanted to cherish every moment, she was there for me for every moment of my life good and bad so i promised her (as a 16 year old girl at the time) that i would be by her side for every second till the very end. i knew she was ready, and although there will always be rough times where you just cry and wish that it was all a nightmare, it is the fact that she told me she was ready that brings me peace.
John Last i believe that after you have a staff you can't go to any other breed because they just steal your heart, i thought that after i lost her that i could never get another because i feared i would never be able to love them the same, then i realised that much like children they each have their own personality so of course it would be different, but different doesn't mean bad and with time after you have healed a bit from the tragedy, yes i think i will adopt another into the family, what are your thoughts?
im 14 and i own and fully care for a pied blue english staffy, she is 4 months and 2 weeks old. Plus she is laying right next to me snoring in her sleep as i am typing this hahaha.
Aww i have a 14 yr old blue x brindle staff, being on a bit now will definitely get another one when i get my own place, mum found out she is allergic a few years back but we aint getting rid of him, had him since a pup bless him

I have 4 staffy's. They're so loving!! And you're right about the lack of me time. Every time I go to the bathroom if I don't shut the door right away my dogs will push the door open and come right in. I'm not kidding. EVERY SINGLE TIME

My family and I just got a new Staffy! He is currently about 16 weeks old and he is growing at a extremely fast rate as he is already the same size as another Staffy in our neighbor hood!! Gotta love them!! 😃

Staffies aren't pitbulls, they're a completely separate breed. Lumping them together is lazy and does staffs no favours. Maybe you can't tell the difference.
I remember watching this before getting my pitbull and thinking "I hope she'll be this sweet and funny". She's now 2 years old and I just come to the conclusion that every dog loves to feel like a baby apparently. I was so nervous to get a pitbull because of what ignorant people say, but from the first time a saw her I new she was the one. This video helped me a lot, thank you, I couldn't be happier ♡
I was going to comment this. My staffy is 4 months and 2 weeks and she is already almost toilet trained and she knows not to bite or eat my food. It is true that you need to make a bond with your dog so that they do what you say.
Ive a female pitbull and a female blue staffy and i can honestly say that they are the biggest softies ive ever come across....loyal as hell and excellent at guarding my home when im at work! Saddley we lost her to cancer in 2017 but she had a white love heart on her chest 💗 she loved hoping into people cares bc she loved everyone she loves cuddles and being around u aswell. I miss her soooooo much! She would never attack any one..... ...well besides with licks and huggs 😅
I thought my staffy was the only one who did that! I don't know what's more surprising... my dog jumping into people's cars, or the people who opened their car doors for him.
Ace videos I adore your dogs! My staffy died a few months ago at 16 and I miss him terribly they are such a huge part of your life. If I can just give you a little tip though be super careful with the corn cobs, my dog loved them to but once he got it out of my hand and swallowed a big chunk and had to take him to the vets😧 lucky he passed it after a few days but they can be fatal for dogs as they don't breakdown and cause blockage. 🐾🐾🐾
these guys are precious, i have worked at my local pit bull rescue, i can honestly say these guys are rarely agressive and even the agressive ones were rehabilitated by our local "dog mom" they be the biggest teddybears of all time, i adore them so much :) thanks for shedding such a sweet light on an otherwise tarnished breed

I have an American staffy and he is the most playful dog, I've never seen an aggressive staffy, people shouldn't be scared to buy one. I absolutely love my Amstaff Diesel, he is the most playful dog I've ever seen.
I lost my beloved Amstaff Poppy to cancer of the spleen almost a year ago and am still devastated by it .She was the most adorable,obiedient, kind and loving dog anyone could wish for, we lived for each other.But you have to make one thing clear,and that is that you are the Boss and pack leader and all will be well. Just seeing a staffy melts my heart more than any other breed. That's because we had the most beautiful boy ever and I miss him so much, he really was a one off.
I live in Canada and mine acts the same way. Lot's of kisses and loves to run and play. At home she is my shadow never leaves my side. They are sweet dogs. with lots of love for the right owner. They will make you happy. But you must socialize them early on. Take them every where. You will have a happy dog. Not for fist time dog owners.
My staffy was our first dog and it was a match made in heaven, sure he taught us a lot. We made some mistakes. He made some mistakes. But out of all the dogs I have lived with (not owned) he has been the friendliest dog of them all. (including two labs) Perfectly fine for a first time owner but I would recommend being aware of other peoples stigma and attitudes to staffies. I have been shocked by some peoples reaction to my dog just walking by minding his own business (including strangers walking up to us and hitting my dog purely because he is a staffie). The hardest part about owning a staff, is trying to understand other people prejudice against them. I just never will.
@Maynard Runkle if we are going to ban pitbulls as a breed then we should ban any race of human that kills according to your logic. Pitbulls kill because they are poorly trained or trianed to do so because of their structure as a dog. If people get rid of pitbull as a breed they will most likely then choose another breed and the process would repeat so your opinion makes no sense

The fact that staffies get a bad name annoys me, as my staffie is the biggest pansie you will ever meet. They're very good with kids too, I'm 11 with two brothers and one sister all of which are younger than me and he's perfect with them. He doesn't like trampolines though lol.

Deadly farts, loud snoring, smug appearance no matter what is going on, no more "I can pee standing" - toilet is the best place when you let it off, so head down into it, crazy bursts of running over everything(tall grass, water, mud etc etc), whip of a tail(can take eye out or pink it and it damn hurts even when it hits leg or toe) the list goes on.

Some people say these dogs are vicious. My grandma owns one and every time I go over to her house all it wants to do is cuddle. I don't know how people think they ALL can be vicious because just a few of them are.

All of my dogs have been rescues for the last 15 years. I work with 2 no kill shelters to adopt out abandoned and abused dogs If the dog cannot be placed with a good owner or family then they stay with me and my home becomes theirs too.
My Staffie is simply my best friend who abuses his privilege with bed and sofa. I get my face and hands washed in the morning before I get to the bathroom. Belly rubs and neck scratches on demand, but who welcomes me home as if I'd been gone for a year (only 2 hours) MY BEST FRIEND!
I went to get on the bus with my six year old blue staff the other day, I asked the driver 'am I OK with dog pal' he said 'Yeh no problem mate' then he looks at her and said 'ah erm your not getting on with that dog' I said 'ok fair enough but can you at least give me a reason why not as iv never had a problem before' he said 'well it's a dangerous dog init' I said 'no she's a blue staff she's not on any dangerous dog list she's never bit or gone for anyone she's one of the most placid dogs you'd ever meet'. The wanker stud there trying to tell me that my dog ain't a staffy and IT should be muzzled. The fact that he wouldn't let me didn't bother me to much, it was the fact that he was trying to tell me my dog ain't a staffy it dangerous and should be muzzled. All the time I stud there arguing the toss with him my dog lead down next to me and never batted an eye lid, then to top it off the woman next to me got on with one of tiny Paris hilton dogs that never stopped growling and yapping at my dog. It takes the piss how ignorant people are. I love my staffy and so do all the people and shop workers on my street because of how soft and friendly and well behaved she is.

This made me smile, so true!!!😊❤ I've owned a few retired greyhounds, and Zeus, my foxy-cross I bought from a shelter in 2010.; Poppy, my American staffy, I rescued from neglect & abuse in 2017. It took her a while (8 months) but now she is cool as with my 2 cats. She is never short of beans, humour, and affection! She's had some behavioral issues, but she didn't have a great start. She's getting there, and I love her anyway. She's such a sweetie, despite what she endured. I've always loved dogs; I'll always love any dog! But I've come to see what is so very special and loveable about a staffy! Peace and love to all my fellow animal lovers, Theresa, your friend in Australia! 😚😚😚 (All animals, especially dogs, deserve the very best we can give - not in stuff per se, but in time and real love & attention! There are worse things they could do to that dog then put clothes on it. If its not too hot and the dog can still be a dog, run, sleep, play, walk and so on, then its fine.
LMFAO I have been a bully breed owner for 5 years and my life will never be the same...I changed jobs to be home during the day...I never realized how much a dog could become the center of my universe...he is the best most awesome addition to this family...he no longer is referred to as a dog but a member and loving "kid" : ) Oh pibble kisses, how I never get tired of slobbering, hair and that enlightened smile we should all strive to have.

Bailey never leaves my side, like the video even at my bathtime he tries to get in. They are fabulous dogs and have amazing characters. Alot of the bad press they get is from bad owners. My family and I just got a new Staffy! He is currently about 16 weeks old and he is growing at a extremely fast rate as he is already the same size as another Staffy in our neighbor hood!! Gotta love them!! 😃

Staffies aren't pitbulls, they're a completely separate breed. Lumping them together is lazy and does staffs no favours. Maybe you can't tell the difference.
I remember watching this before getting my pitbull and thinking "I hope she'll be this sweet and funny". She's now 2 years old and I just come to the conclusion that every dog loves to feel like a baby apparently. I was so nervous to get a pitbull because of what ignorant people say, but from the first time a saw her I new she was the one. This video helped me a lot, thank you, I couldn't be happier ♡

I was going to comment this. My staffy is 4 months and 2 weeks and she is already almost toilet trained and she knows not to bite or eat my food. It is true that you need to make a bond with your dog so that they do what you say.

Ive a female pitbull and a female blue staffy and i can honestly say that they are the biggest softies ive ever come across....loyal as hell and excellent at guarding my home when im at work! Please dont listen to the stereotype bad rep these dogs have.... its how you raise em and are only a weapon when they are unfortunate enough to fall into the wrong hands....

I had a staffy and her name was Jessi. Saddley we lost her to cancer in 2017 but she had a white love heart on her chest 💗 she loved hoping into people cares bc she loved everyone she loves cuddles and being around u aswell. I miss her soooooo much! She would never attack any one.....

Ace videos I adore your dogs! My staffy died a few months ago at 16 and I miss him terribly they are such a huge part of your life. If I can just give you a little tip though be super careful with the corn cobs, my dog loved them to but once he got it out of my hand and swallowed a big chunk and had to take him to the vets😧 lucky he passed it after a few days but they can be fatal for dogs as they don't breakdown and cause blockage. 🐾🐾🐾

these guys are precious, i have worked at my local pit bull rescue, i can honestly say these guys are rarely agressive and even the agressive ones were rehabilitated by our local "dog mom" they be the biggest teddybears of all time, i adore them so much :) thanks for shedding such a sweet light on an otherwise tarnished breed

Just seeing a staffy melts my heart more than any other breed. That's because we had the most beautiful boy ever and I miss him so much, he really was a one off.
I live in Canada and mine acts the same way. Lot's of kisses and loves to run and play. At home she is my shadow never leaves my side. They are sweet dogs. with lots of love for the right owner. They will make you happy. But you must socialize them early on. Take them every where. You will have a happy dog. Not for fist time dog owners.

My staffy was our first dog and it was a match made in heaven, sure he taught us a lot. We made some mistakes. He made some mistakes. But out of all the dogs I have lived with (not owned) he has been the friendliest dog of them all. (including two labs) Perfectly fine for a first time owner but I would recommend being aware of other peoples stigma and attitudes to staffies. I have been shocked by some peoples reaction to my dog just walking by minding his own business (including strangers walking up to us and hitting my dog purely because he is a staffie). The hardest part about owning a staff, is trying to understand other people prejudice against them. I just never will.

The fact that staffies get a bad name annoys me, as my staffie is the biggest pansie you will ever meet. They're very good with kids too, I'm 11 with two brothers and one sister all of which are younger than me and he's perfect with them. He doesn't like trampolines though lol.

Deadly farts, loud snoring, smug appearance no matter what is going on, no more "I can pee standing" - toilet is the best place when you let it off, so head down into it, crazy bursts of running over everything(tall grass, water, mud etc etc), whip of a tail(can take eye out or pink it and it damn hurts even when it hits leg or toe) the list goes on.

Came across your video completely by chance, and so glad I did! Absolutely beautiful! We had to have our Labrador/Staffie put to sleep in August 2017, and it was the saddest day of my life! She was beautiful. Anyone who says "They're just dogs", obviously hasn't owned one.
Some people say these dogs are vicious. My grandma owns one and every time I go over to her house all it wants to do is cuddle. I don't know how people think they ALL can be vicious because just a few of them are.

I went to get on the bus with my six year old blue staff the other day, I asked the driver 'am I OK with dog pal' he said 'Yeh no problem mate' then he looks at her and said 'ah erm your not getting on with that dog' I said 'ok fair enough but can you at least give me a reason why not as iv never had a problem before' he said 'well it's a dangerous dog init' I said 'no she's a blue staff she's not on any dangerous dog list she's never bit or gone for anyone she's one of the most placid dogs you'd ever meet'. The wanker stud there trying to tell me that my dog ain't a staffy and IT should be muzzled. The fact that he wouldn't let me didn't bother me to much, it was the fact that he was trying to tell me my dog ain't a staffy it dangerous and should be muzzled. All the time I stud there arguing the toss with him my dog lead down next to me and never batted an eye lid, then to top it off the woman next to me got on with one of tiny Paris hilton dogs that never stopped growling and yapping at my dog. It takes the piss how ignorant people are. I love my staffy and so do all the people and shop workers on my street because of how soft and friendly and well behaved she is.

This made me smile, so true!!!😊❤ I've owned a few retired greyhounds, and Zeus, my foxy-cross I bought from a shelter in 2010.; Poppy, my American staffy, I rescued from neglect & abuse in 2017. It took her a while (8 months) but now she is cool as with my 2 cats. She is never short of beans, humour, and affection! She's had some behavioral issues, but she didn't have a great start. She's getting there, and I love her anyway. She's such a sweetie, despite what she endured. I've always loved dogs; I'll always love any dog! But I've come to see what is so very special and loveable about a staffy!
