- Acting legend Daniel Day-Lewis collects the Richard Harris award at BIFA 2009, bestowed to him for his incredible work in focussing the international spotlight onto the British independent film industry.
Ma quanto è bello? E la sua voce? E la gentilezza? Irresistibile!!
I never knew they had this award! He was such a stinker and not a giant of an actor, really.
Who?
Richard Harris was an incredible actor. Watch him in Cromwell.
@@Sophie_kent Well, he was a good actor, but everything I've read about him points to him being a sexist, rage-filled narcisstic. I talked to a woman who played opposite him on a road tour of "Camelot," one summer and he was either cruel to her or trying to screw her.
@@binklebabe4725 yes I’ve heard those stories. Watched his interviews Best ones are on letterman show. I’m not excusing his behaviour but it’s important to understand he was a man of his times. Today’s world he would have been cancelled. Everyone has to be the same and safe today. Also, Camelot was a very long and taxing production- some his meanness might have reflected that.

He was the most self deprecating person ever. How was he a narcissist?
And what do you mean trying to screw her?
