yeah okay i fucking get it, "its not breakcore" you can shut the fuck up now. You probably heard one of those 300 bpm killed breaks that arent even on beat right and concluded that all breakcore tracks are like that. At least appreciate my fucking video since ive clearly inspired some people and showed them how to at least mix things to make a song, you don't have to ruin everything just because the final result wasnt as planned. You people always find the one bad thing from everything good and point it out and shame me for it, regardless that everything else is on point and right, besides this is my first video. And you all sound like fucking nerds the way you get so defensive about a stupid music genre, grow up 🤓 2024 edit: whoever humbled me when i said this, thank you, god damn
I mean... what did you expect? There are a lot of videos titled "How to make breakcore" (which are actually ambient jungle tutorials) and every single one that I've seen received the same feedback. It's normal that breakcore fans get upset when they see some retarded version of their genre get viral. I understand that putting "breakcore" in the title is a form of clickbait, but at least explain that at the beginning of the video instead of saying "tHeY aRE AlL tHe sAmE ShuT tHe FuCk UP", because instead of making all those "nerds" look stupid, you make a clow out of yourself.
You forgot the most important key element for producing breakcore. You have to be diagnosed with a hopelessly complex set of mental illnesses and have experienced intense emotional trauma
you have a nice voice (not creepy i swear) and seem to be a natural teacher! you explained things quickly and concisely with just enough detail so that newcomers wont be overwhelmed yet people with a bit more knowledge will still have somthing to gain. I think you did a great job! keep makin music and videos!
I'd love to see this genre of music-related content rise in popularity on TH-cam. Maybe it would be like 2013-2018 again. Overall, seems like a good tutorial.
youre so fucking talented bro. ive never in my life made breakcore and actually think i could do it now that ive watched this video. like seriously, bro keep going. this is amazing.
good dnb tutorial idk why you called it breakcore especially since you take your time to explain the diffrence between dnb and breakcore i thought this was going to be a breakcore tutorial still good tutorial tho i enjoyed the final result
UOOOHHHH I was shocked when I heard the final result. I had heard it some time before in soundcloud and I entered this vid without knowing it was yours song. Loved your work before this tutorial and now appreciate it way more now I understand the work it took. Nice to meet you again :D (sorry bad english, not main lang)
Ayo, ik this video is old but damn. I wanted to say thanks for breaking it down as i've been trying to figure this type of perc out for a hot minute. Honestly you explaining it was the best info i found on it.
First of all really good and professional video! I'd like to point out that jungle is not a subgenre of dnb because the scene and audience is much different.
jungle and and hardcore would eventually birth drum and bass, although dnb would supersede jungle in popularity, jungle was the original. Breakcore starts to diverge from early jungle and dnb with the appearance of atmospheric drum and bass, each taking their own path in break choppage. Jungle would stick to more reggae (ragga) and dub influences. I wont go down the rabbithole of differences between the genres more than that but hope my very quick and paraphrased history might help Breaks. Atmos. Bass. We are all one on the dance floor :) keep up the vids!
even tho people are saying “this isn’t breakcore!!!” this is THE most useful tutorial on it out there. Other tutorials are just like “ok so get your sample and add drum breaks and you’re done!!!” and not actually explain jack squat
man. first of all i wanna say the example track you used goes absolutely bonkers. im all about that fucked, eerie but also calm sound you went for. i appreciate this tutorial as i do with all the others I've seen. each of them help fill the gaps and this one was particularly simple and straightforward. ending made me chuckle =] oh, and quick edit: i agree about music being something "serious" (id prefer the word important). of course everyone will have a different approach to expressing themselves and thats totally fine. id say im a dude who jokes about stuff but also finds a lot of depth in what he listens to/makes.
Hey, I just want to say, for your first video. This is really good, like I watched this whole video twice good. I like your explanation of things and also I like throughout your whole video you meme a bit then talk about the subject at hand seriously straight after, creates a nice and engaing effect on viewers like me. Keep it up! (Also side not: I know a lot of people may complain about this being not Breakcore or whatever, personally I can't really tell the difference myself lol XD, but that's due to me being naive and have no prior knowledge of the genre. But still your video helped out people like me a lot, so at least we have some starting knowledge).
good lord the pinned comment made me think this might not be a correct tutorial but that explanation of the 3 genres was just YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
bruh how are you on 54 subs, i was watching this video without checking your stats i thought im watching some million subs youtuber, good video very professional
That tuto is awesome mate, i wanted to know if u used prebuilt serum's padpreset or if u were creating them by yourself cuz the final product is an absolute banger. Keep it up !
shit man ion got time, or ideas. ill try, and make the video more correct then this one. editing aint that easy, shit takes sweat and time, which i dont fucking have, but thanks tho

This is DnB/Jungle. NOT breakcore
this tutorial fucking sucks

Why do I hear this joke everywhere with this theme? What's up with that?
@aratzheltv stupid thing i think was kinda popularized by sewerslvts existence
Check! ✔🤪
@@rotted_girlI figured it was because most of the titles are depressing af
Mental retardation
getting a melody to go with the break was hard enough 💀this shit is crazy
im just starting with the fl studio demo version rn and i gotta say making a melody that works is fking hard i cant get it to work
Jungle isn't a subgenre of dnb... it's its older brother from the early 90s ;)
you have a nice voice (not creepy i swear) and seem to be a natural teacher! you explained things quickly and concisely with just enough detail so that newcomers wont be overwhelmed yet people with a bit more knowledge will still have somthing to gain. i have a new interest this week and it's attempting to produce fast paced music on legal unpirated fl studio so thanks a lottt broo 💀💞

Idk what break core really is or anything but I like this.
I am now fully prepared to breakcore, thank you.
how to make break core
step 1: spam your sounds
step 2: make the spam seem more planned
step 3: enjoy
First of all really good and professional video! I'd like to point out that jungle is not a subgenre of dnb because the scene and audience is much different.

dnb is a subgenre of jungle actually lol yall tripping
@@yungstigmatamanne I would say dnb and jungle are very different nowadays but were very similar back in the 90s.
bro forgot to chop the breaks (bro made sewer style atmospheric dnb)

I love the track you created. 💕
Well organized, I like it.
That's bit of ridiculous statement @ 1:53. In reality DnB evolved out of Jungle scene around mid 90s thanks to artists like Goldie.
btw i heard you can use some unusual time bases like 7/8
good video by the way, it certainly deserves much more attention

Thats more of a jungle than breakcore track. Breakcore is fast, dynamic and has much more complex drums. Overall good one!

do you have any keys to recomend for break when making ambient pads
this is not really breakcore since your breaks aren't chopped enough and your at a really slow bpm its more of a dnb/jungle song. but it does sound good so good job :)
