I would love to see an Alice show with Greg fronting any Layne parts in songs. Will is an amazing addition but Layne is irreplaceable. Private Hell was so haunting, it was like Layne was there.

Right here! First time visiting pappy and harriets. Was crowded, warm, hard to get to the bathroom, hard to get a drink. Was fantastic! Haha. Wouldn't trade it for anything. Such an intimate setting. As a side note, I saw Jerry later that evening at morongo 😆

man the way jerry looks at greg is either "man that sounds insane" or "greg please dont f*ck this one up". this jerry cantrell solo band lineup is unreal, each member does justice to the solo songs, its unreal how tight this whole setlist was, love to hear any songs off degradation trip, that album is right there just behind dirt album. and dirt is my all time favorite album ever.

I love Jerry. Really glad he kept doing his thing with AIC. Obviously losing Layne was brutal and a huge hit to the band, but they did it right in my opinion, took a lot of time away and eventually returned and didn’t really try to change or replace Layne. Jerry just took the lead and brought in someone he was close with and had worked with (Duvall) to make it more comfortable/familiar, because it was always Layne/Jerry steering the vocals with harmonies and sharing vocal duties depending on the song. On top of the voice, such a good/unique guitar player.
Jerry Cantrell is a brilliant artist.....he came out with a new color on guitar. It's part Neil Young, part Clapton and part his own take on that and it's on the edge....one of the best guitarists to come out after the EVH copy crew.
I just got to see Carcass and Harms Way I didn’t stay for Hatebreed. Going to see Kublai Khan Whitechapel and Lorna Shore. Fit for an Autopsy in Nov Maybe Animals as Leaders. Def gonna try to see Better Lovers too but ? Always appreciate your videos
Still soaking in the new tunes but lately I'm liking Afterglow. Thanks for posting, Jerry's still got it but his back-up singer is barely audible and he seemed frustrated with his sound during the show.
Oh thank God somebody told the lighting dude that he was messing up poor Jerry probably went home with the sunburn. The idiot had the Red cell on him or whatever they do not know these days and poor Jerry's face and no specially was highlighted like Rudolph the Red-Nosed reindeer. Jerry, have a talk with that person later. Your face is too pretty to hide❤❤❤
As someone who loves all of Jerry's body of work, I feel like this band can't get the right emotion out of Psychotic Break, that song is way too good to have such a meh live performance, and it seems to be a recurring thing.
@@LiveRockMusic Maybe, they just don't seem to be too into it, and it doesn't set an overall tone for the rest of the setlist. If they can't get the mood of the song right, they should swap it out with Anger Rising, but it seems that Jerry hates playing it for some reason.
@vegetasasuke0 Anger Rising is a tough tune to play and sing especially the Chorus. Might be why. Id love to hear Devil by his Side off Boggy Depot make the list.
