To this day many tone snobs still say modeling amps don’t sound good, though blind listening tests don’t support their views. Using the amps on a show says a lot about Lenny’s willingness to try new things especially since he is known for being a vintage gear aficionado. It also suggests he was totally fine with the way they sounded and that he probably had a sponsorship.
