- NGVO is an upcoming visual-only modlist that I'm working on. It aims to be vibrant, have a high level of visual fidelity and easy to add onto.

1:11 , Why not release it as a MultiProfile setup kinda like how Anvil as CS, ENB & A base with no graphics, like NGVO - Cities add-on or something
Multiple comments mentioned this. There is in no way at all this is realistic. It's easy to have a bugfix only profile then a 2nd profile to add on top of it. With cities you're dealing with 2 sets of patches, outputs, etc. It would be worse than just having 2 seperate lists.
@@biggie_boss Could you upload 2 separate lists then? Personally I'd prefer it without cities though. Can't wait till it's out!!
The mods biggie added to this mod list regarding the cities are necessary imo, the vanilla were severely lacking. And besides I doubt removing them yourself would be that difficult.
Bro you're the actual GOAT of modding now, like seriously
Definitely the MOAT
YO Biggie!!! This look really amazing! Theres no enough lists like this one so I think this was a great idea!
If the goal of the modlist is to function as a base on which to build according to personal preference, in my opinion it would be best not to overhaul the cities, because some people would prefer a Spaghetti's AIO, others a COTN, or something else (and make two modlist to indulge people doesn't feel right to me). Exception might be the Environs series, add-ons that I think are homogeneously appreciated. (Perhaps better a written guide on tips and steps to follow to add mods and create patches, especially for newbies? Certainly more work perhaps than a more complete but less customizable modlist)
Much more important, however, would be the animation part, which needs to be completely revolutionized compared to vanilla.
Regardless, thank you as always for the incredible work, patience and attention you put into what you do!
Regarding animations, MCO in a visual-only list is (IMO) a terrible idea. MCO itself is a significant gameplay overhaul. Regardless of if I like it, others hate it with a passion. It removes elements such as attack speed and directional attacks from the game completely.
@@biggie_boss My bad, I meant vanilla replacers, such as Verolevi animations for walk and run, which generally require only DAR/OAR.
Yeah those are already in
truly beautiful and looks like I will be playing skyrim yet again using your modlist. TY
Love to try this, thanks for giving? Can't wait to adventure in your work! ❤
I've seen you showcase good base modlists and to hear that you are creating one is actually exciting. I might scrap my list and opt for a good base made by you looks!
I've been building my own base visual overhaul for several weeks but this is just so good I might have to scrap the whole thing. So impressed with how quickly you can put these lists together. Tremendous work Bigs!
exactly the kind of list I've been waiting for all along... a true vanilla remake. I was expecting it from omenapollo to finally release his but this one would do just fine as long as it won't go too ahead of itself.
Thanks a lot for bringing us those beautiful modlist. Ngl, I'm excited for that one! Can't wait!
Keep up the good work man! Would love to see an Enderal list if you ever got around to it but at the end of the day you’re already kicking ass man, love to see it!
This looks amazing Biggie! Definitely giving this a try when it comes out. Question, would making two different profiles in MO2 for the city overhauls (with/without) be too much of a hassle? I have no idea.
Amazing work as always
Been away for a while glad to be back and dude...this looks amazing. Very anxious to DL this and see your final product.
Thanks :) hope to have it soonish
Looks awesome so far! Gonna be awesome! Keep being great keep being you keep trying!
This is a great idea. Small suggestion for a fantasy list. I have a fantasy build on my Xbox and one of the ones that help with that is Fairies. It just adds some fairies scattered around Skyrim, but the place they look the best is in the Eldergleam Sanctuary. You can see them on my game before installing them if you would like. I just think they are a great addition for a Fantasy style. Otherwise this is absolutely amazing looking and a fantastic idea. If I ever get a PC again, I would probably use this one as a good basic list. Can't wait to see the finished product.
biggie is the daedric prince of modding and his realm is that of SSEdit
A man of his people. Well done, I like that concept, it gives you so much freedom. But not like a blank canvas where you could drew garbage, it's like a painting whee you have to put your own color to it. And looks amazing ❤
So, its going to be like an AVO modlist, so cool, it was one of my favorite list and a very good base to build your own
hey biggie I just subscribed to your channel, keep up with the amazing content.
Ey I appreciate that :)
Biggie the Boss at it again with the bangers
Can't wait for the release of this,❤🎉🎉
Absolutely awesome
This is awesome that you are making other types of mod lists just don’t overwhelm yourself
I will definitely be switching over to this even though I just spent 6 days forking Ascencio. 😅
Yeees, a "visual only" list around northern roads is perfect
Looks great. I started modding again. I tried a year ago when I refound Skyrim so to say. But I totaly F'ed up. But now that I know there is a back up button You can use its so much easier :D
Looks absolutely amazing, can't wait for the release. I would prefer if you didn't include city overhauls just to maximise compatibility because I would like to play this with requiem
If you do end up adding cities mods, cities of the north and the great cities patched together look amazing like Dawnstar and Winterhold, probably best to stay away from JK's though if you want keep it a little bit performance friendly. also any list with northern roads fully patch in is very welcomed.
List is looking great! In my opinion, I say add city overhauls. I think it is easier to rip things out than to put them in, patch correctly, sort plugins correctly, etc.
I would greatly appreciate the City Add ons. I am fairly new to tweaking modlists and adding those myself in the right order would be a nightmare lol. I just know how to add different combat/character animation mods as well as banal things like armor/presets/skin textures etc.
My opinion and again this is my personal opinion is that a visual mod list should not include city mods, this way people can personalize it themselves. Other then that looking good.
if i had to chose i would have it with cities. and i love northern roads so yes to that too pls!
Bonta theme from dofus 1.29 i see you are truly a man of culture
Eyyy Dofus 1.X was a whole vibe.
wow this looks great..im currently using nolvus v5 and its good but id actualy just like the trees/grass and visuals without all the npc/combat/dlc etc..i like this alot
Biggie changing the wabbajack ideology one modlist at a time....think of the end user!
Hell ye
What a great mod list idea. No doubt there will be a ton of suggestions but if it remains flexible then adding mods to the base will achieve the look that others may wish. The only think that I'd add to think about is grass mods. I have a particular dislike for long and dense grass. Not only is it a GPU burden but I hate losing the corpses to loot and sneaking just means I can't see the enemy, while they know exactly where I am due to the game not being based on real eyesight.
I look forward to seeing what you end up with. Especially as you're a damn sight better than I am at modding :D
This is the list we need but we don't deserve xD
The core idea of this list is to have a vanilla graphic remake, right? So, why we should change the cities. If anyone want to do it, they can.
I think the way you are working on the list rn is the best way.
might be next, for medium pc like 1080video cards.Azura weathers and lighting overhaul+pandorable's npc musthave !
Looks promising
i LOVE the general look and this project you started except one tiny tiny thing. a grass addition that you made on nolvus grass ( if im not mistaken). it was veydosebrom i guess, im not sure. i think you just use that on pineforest. it has very different coloring than other grass mashup. it really breaks the visual on that area in my opinion.
First of all, this will be the list I use to create my own mod list once it is ready for prime time. My suggestion on the city mods, include or not would be to create two profiles, one with, one without much like Anvil had multiple profiles depending on what you wanted as a foundation for starting your own list. Thanks for doing this, I believe it will be an important contribution to the The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim ecosystem of mod list once published.
2 seperate profiles for cities vs no cities would be extremely difficult to do. You need 2 different sets of lux, lux via, lux orbis, water for enb, northern road patches on top of seperate consistency patches, synthesis outputs, lods and dyndolods.
@@biggie_boss Fair enough. I am not a mod list creator, or at least not yet. I look to your experience and wisdom to know how to best proceed. Either way, I will likely hold off until you publish it then use it to start creating my own list. I want something unique, different from what's available today so we'll have to see where that goes. Thanks for the feedback.
thanks to work on this modlist , i'm waiting this
finally a friendly list that overhall only visual
i've done my hown modlist , above 1000 mods but as a new comers o modding skyrim , its quite consuming time
so after i tryed some modlist , but those good modlist was too much , very good visual but don't feel playing skyrim on gameplay ,
and its hell to translate both fix/path , plugins/esl/esm on french
the tone fantasy , seems good , not too over statured , on the mood of base skyrim , tryed nolvus , graphics 're very good but the tone feel too dark soul ,
to be honest on visual , i love the vivids stuff mods texture pack :)
Biggie you are the goat
Please add beautiful cities I trust your judgement on what looks good
Hi,
Thank you kind Sir for your hard work. For me there is no need for things like city overhauls. This list looks faboulles even without them.
Looks really good
Sadly I'm not a big fan of the grass but that's personal preference:)
I started liking green grass after I noticed just how much of Skyrim the yellow grass gets applied to.
@@biggie_boss I like the green grass too, I just don't like the way those little grass patches look, for example in Riverwood, to me they look a bit too repetitive.
@@user-ot8xn9dh6m yeah, but I think Biggie said he can make those much denser so I think it's gonna end up good. I myself prefer Vinland gras patch with brown tundra but brown tundra aint gonna fit to green landscape... Even tho this grass is also really nice...So overall I really like it alot
My personal vote would be to let people decide on their own cities. More and more i am finding that for me cities are becoming something that I would rather have more choice in.
I find myself looking more and more at at least three different areas when considering whether I think a modlist will work for me. One of them is cities. The other two are how the roads look, and whether the tundra looks realistic to me.
I live in the Yukon, where we DO have tundra, and i have also been to northern England and to Scotland, and I find myself judging a modlist by how close the tundra comes to matching these places. it seems like it is a lot easier to make forested areas look good with pretty well any of the tree and shrub mods, but tundras can be tricky. I do think that this is where vanilla Skyrim does well. The colors are bad, but the hilliness and rockyness is well defined.
This is why a lot of times i just started using mods like "Whiterun Forest Borealis". If a modlist can't create a realistic looking tundra, then I find it easier to accept having more trees to lessen the unrealistic look of the tundra.
Think for city addons you should just include spaghettis (without the frickin streamers if possible) and maybe capitals series of mods. Maybe some other smaller city mods that wouldn't have conflicts.
MY MAN!
Really just need a next gen Skyrim playable on the Ally. Vanilla story etc. This looks good so far.
Could you also put in details of what minimum spec machine you might need to run it.
What mods cause potential fps drops and if possible to disable or replace with a downgraded version like going from 4k to 2k to even 1k variants.
Last suggestion would be more work on your end but I personally find it a little irksome with Wabbajacks is the lack of notes if you modify a mod you added, as in if you hide and ESP, hide/delete mesh/textures, or rename things.
Spaghetti’s stuff is pretty lightweight and might be worth including. Otherwise I feel if I were to fork off of this myself, I’d prefer no cities so that I can more easily add what suits my own vision.
Awesome music
Personally, I think if you’re gonna use northern roads then add a city overhauls to as they are already patched
It loogs great! But Could you please write the list of the cities mods please somewhere?
This looks amazing. Could this be installed on top of something else like Eldergleam? I've been playing Eldergleam because it essentially feels like vanilla+ with enough enhancements to make it interesting. Since this is visual only, could it be installed right on top of Eldergleam to get this visual experience without causing any strange issues? My game is extremely stable right now and would like to avoid introducing instabilities, lol.
Why would you do that? Both this and Eldergleam are visual only. But no, that isn't possible
@@biggie_boss there's definitely things in my Eldergleam like QOL changes, combat changes, inf sprint out of combat, stuff like that that I would consider beyond visual only.
Hello Biggie,
When you finally release the modlist, could you please make public all the LOD settings for it?
Ye
@@biggie_boss Thanks!!
Looks fantastic! IMO im not a fan of big city overhauls minus JK's list of mods due to it making everything less vanilla, so no city overhauls is where i stand.
Howd you get shrubbery enhanced greenery to look good? I find it messes up and clips a lot with scenery and plants.
Hi , do you know what kind of modlist should I install? im new in modding and I was looking for something performance friendly but with good graphics like Septimus ( cant find it on wabbajack ) any tips?
Im downloading Legends of Frost rn
'
Nordic Souls 2 is close
Please include the cities expansions
I wonder if it's possible to merge all the plugins into one giant plugin to rule them all? (except for esm s)Probably there is a hard limit for merges right? 😄
Merging when you don't have to just makes patching harder
will it be one profile with enviromental structures cities expansion etc? and no gameplay.
I removed my Northern Roads MODs as it was just trashing the place with huge gaps all over the place. Now my game is looking loads better with just Blended roads which wasn't supposed to clash with the Northern Roads mod. maybe it was the 3 Skyrim 202x mods that were causing a problem?
However. I also added Vivid Weathers - The Definitive Version. I can adjust how colourful or drab and how bright or dark I want the world to be. Both inside and outside.
But I couldn't find a good green grass MOD where you didn't need to add a load of other mods in to make it work.
But I'm happy with what I've got and as someone who loves Skyrim and modding it, but who's also naff at the technical side of modding, I needed to keep it simple. _REALLY SIMPLE!_
And that's also why I had to remove the mod Lux from my list.
The game, when it installed ticked off all the patches I needed for the mods already installed. But when I looked at the plugins for those dreaded yellow bell icons, for some obscure reason that I couldn't fathom out why, 3/4ers of the Lux plugins were telling me that they were missing their masters? 8-\\... Hence, it was hastily removed.
But I have to ask you this.
When you're installing MODs, which ones do you start with first?
I did the landscapes then textures, then people and then installed armour, magic etcetera.
But is there a proper way to install mods or not?
And why, when you install some mods that deal with some items, does it come up saying there is a clash with another mod that clearly shouldn't have any effect on each other?
I think modding becomes easier when you learn the fundamental difference between plugins and loose files. Also, a working knowledge of xedit is needed. Lux is a must have mod for me.
Less than 320 is definitely far more generous than most peoples skyrim mod list
Once you've fixed vanilla bugs and landscape issues, you're already in 100+ range
Looking forwaed to playing this modlist. I been on nolvus for a while but wanna try fresh game again
Keep the city overhaul. Personal opinion. Haha. Also bro is cookin. Is this gonna be ver 1.5 or 1.6? CC content included?
1.5.97 no CC needed other than the free ones
Looks great Biggie, and this is just preference, but the grass near the end of this video includes a lot of the multi-directional non-moving ugly grass that a lot of people don't like about the current Nolvis modlist, because it's not very next gen looking. The rest of the grass looks good, but the grass near the end of the video is kind of an eye sore. Just some honest feedback! Everything else is looking terrific.
Yeah I'm going to do a different grass mashup for the final version :)
Why not do both? Have a LITE version w/o cities and Roads modes; and a full version with both city and Roads. That way, the player could choose which one more closely fills their needs. The mode is looking great, by the way.
That wouldn't be realistic at all
Biggie using Northern Roads??
What about two lists ... One as is shown and one with better cities and interiors. I feel that an updated graphical list kind of needs city mods, both in and out, to feel updated and modern.
That's twice as much work for me
Every Skyrim next gen video: field of view is below 40. This is next gen.
FOV is 95 here
is this released yet on wabbajack?? :D
When? Please? And thank you!
Sometime in the future
When are you gonna release the modlist?
Sometime
Only? I have 130 including gameplay and non graphics and it looks pretty great.
130 with Lux, Orbis and Via? I think I have 100 plugins just fixing vanilla bugs.
@@biggie_boss damn I thought that Ussep would just cover most of it.
USSEP sucks. But we're forced to use it.
@@biggie_boss I like a lot of the fixes, but I can’t use it with undo certain ussep changes.
how's the performance gonna be?
Idk and idc tbh. There's already several performance friendly visual-only modlists. This doesn't aim to be that
Cities.
I’d rather not have cities so I can just throw requiem and 3bftweaks on top of
no cities for sure
with Northern roads It is going to be difficult to customize this list, example add cities, towns so in the end it won't be of much use unless you choose to put town and cities and go with that in the your list, and whoever likes it likes it, or what I think is better, don't use northern roads
Northern Roads is actually very easy to rip out because it always goes at the end of the load order.
@@biggie_boss for you and for me BUT not for the ones who struggle creating their own lists and need one to like the ones you are creating
Whens this coming out?
In the future
Its the most 99% of them out there. So close to being it...and then there are those ugly stone farm walls 😇
jk, keep it up
Yes if we show just a clip here and there ...oh looks beautiful but once in game..most of the game.. its Skyrim.. dated
Just false. You can download my other list and see for yourself :)
This is amazing! Id love this with TDM and basic combat/animation mods. Vanilla-ish Skyrim with enhanced combat essentially. I am keeping an eye on Ultima mod pack but lots of major fps drops, so Imma wait til some updates.
It has TDM and all of verolevis OAR animations :) so improved vanilla but if you end up wanting to add MCO all the tools will be there for you.
Game looks really good this without any gameplay changing mods and city mods I would instantly download, hope you don’t add anything and just release it imo even remove some of clutter mods just let et be vanilla but with 2024 graphics
