@@MotionSimBuilders That's pretty sweet and also very precarious looking! I get some final destination vibes of like one small shift in weight breaking a rod/holder and something skewering you. 😅 Maybe a little too much imagination on my end.
Thanks, Chris. Very cool gcode options. This brings a lot of new possibilities to the robot arm. Any thoughts of a tele-operation system similar to guys at Stanford with the Aloha project?
I have been an avid follower of your progress, and I am always just blown away! Do you think that at this version, the robot can be used with a router attachment for precision woodworking?
Hey there, can we get no code kinematic replication like a macro? Press set , move the arm, press set again and it replays the action on command. If not possible, what should I learn to achieve it? I can code in Python and Javascript
Are there python apis created for this? Want to use it with Raspberry PI. Feeding sensors data (temperature sensor, pressure sensor, etc) to raspberry pi, raspberry pi will take decision for the next set of movements
Can i use your robot as graduation project? I know i should give you a detailed description of the situation but here I'd like to know ib principal if it's ok
I am struggling with my robots J5 backlash. I have tightened the belt very much, but still the belt moves a couple millimeters before the output actually responds? This is also slightly true for the J3. Do you have any recommendations?
Please email me at info@anninrobotics.com and send video of the movements. I have upgraded to new bushing for the J5 carrier on the MK2 which I could send you.
Just discovered your channel. This project is just AWESOME! TH-cam algorithm does not do you justice. Thanks for making it open source.
Thank you!
Ditto! I just discovered this channel. Amazing work being done here.
Yeah!! Another Chris Annin AR4 video! Adding G-code functionality is a small, yet significant step forward. The push button stop is also a nice touch.
Hi chris i emailed you about my custom arm and you have been so helpful. Your free software is great and i really appricate everything your doing.
I don't have a need for this robot arm ... But I still need it in mylife !! Awesome work @Chris Annin !! Keep it up.
Thank you so much!

Amazing project, i have never stumbled upon this until now, TH-cam recommendations really came through tonight!
Another project on the list!
I really watch with admiration. I wish you continued success. Greetings from Turkey.

Chris, would a regular E-Stop button work with this update?
Thank you so much 😍😍
Useful 👏👏👏 great machine writers😉👍 very cool
Thank you.
Hello Does your software run on Win7 64 ? Thank you for your work really appreciate it .
I havnt tried it on win 7, its programmed in Python 3.12 and I think it should run but im not 100% sure

Great addition
thank you
This is amazing Annin, am in kenya, can I get this robot kit?
All information is in the description.
Hello, yes everything is available at www.anninrobotics.com thank you.

Greate job Cris
thank you.
If i ever lose an arm one of these as a replacement would be my choice.
Great work
Thank you.
Really great job. Can the software work with a diy 5 axis camera slider?
The robot kinematics are set up for 6 axis robot but the software does have controls for an external axis for axis 7, 8 and 9
Can the robot write letters on a tilted surface?
I hadn't tried that on a tilted surface, Id have to dig into what would be needed to create an offset surface to work with.

Someday I will buy this kit! Very nice work =)
Should be possible to connect it to a Jetson Nano or?
Thank you. I haven't used a Jetson Nano myself but you should be able to use any drivers you need to.

What a project!
That website could really use a global unit setting ;-)
Thank you, yeah its not the highest budget project but I'll work on it.
Bad ass!!!
