Thank you for the video Nathan. Cracking job you did there. The owner must have been very happy as the quarter is now indistinguishable from new and you've saved them a couple of grand to boot.
Just a tip for you get one of those soft kids footballs one you can deflate, if you can squeeze it between the panels with the valve facing out you can then pump it up it will push it out without a sharp edge, do it gently then you can move it around dent till it's suitable for finessing.
. . . . . Nice Mid-Weeker for Tea Time ;-) . . . . Not all Hero's wear Capes . . . . Some Wear Tyvek. . . ! Today was a good day. . . . My Caddy (VW) passed another MOT DiY prep: Rear Discs, Pads and Bearings. Garage did: New Windscreen + 1 x wiper
That’s ace… I could watch craftsmanship and patient fettling like that you did there all day long, but I agree with you that there’s a limit unless you’ve got bottomless pockets and nothing else to do - still it looks bang on. Loving the background faffage with the locals and the ‘outtake’ ending… glad the bonce is fixing well - bit of 320 grit should buff the last bit out I recon 😂
Jesus that was some repair on that quarter panel on the caddy any other place would have been down the scrappy getting a cut out of a van to do that just goes to show the prep work does pay off and having a good painter to show how good the repair was underneath... if you can do that to a work van ill be damn sure Andy's vans gonna be a show stopper
A mid week video the another on Friday we are getting spoiled this April. I bet the customer is well pleased with the way his dent has been transformed. There’s no end to your talants
Great video as allways! Looking forward to seeing Lenox.....We have two Dub Dogs(Jack Russell and Cocker)Any news on the stickers?Glad your bonce is healing!
mate you've done it again.not even half way through the video and I'm howling 😂😂😂 'faceache' how accurate, also thanks for the warning to the filler nervous disposition crew,im sure they appreciated it 👍🤣
Well done bud ! Looks like new , all these metal finish fairy’s with there 200hour repairs make me laugh worked in a bodyshop for 15 years filler is just common practice now, maybe when it first came out it would crack etc but the stuff now is brilliant couldn’t live without it !
Enjoyed that Cheers bud very entertaining I wouldnt be so hard on yerself your talant is endless you can walk the walk my friend aswell as talk the talk lol Keep them vids comin it does be higlight of my day after work seeing yove uploaded somtin. Ps dying to see zero budget finished
Glad to see your head has recovered well. That is an awesome job as always. Looks like a good team in that shop. Learn something almost every time and always entertaining. Thank You
@@brianstorm4806 no, there is obvious paint damage and that's not what I was referring to. Some skills would be transferrable, like metal manipulation surely. It would save on some other simpler jobs as well surely? That's why I raised the question
Ah yea mate, can’t complain at that repair, quality I’d have been well happy. I had a dent done recently on me courier sliding side door work van and you can still see the primer on the side of door gap 😂 ah yea!
Hi bud I noticed that while editing the footage, you are right 👍 the primer gun I used needed to be cleaned out but I was right there so just went with it. When the gun is cleaned out proper the fan pattern is a lot bigger. Thanks bud 👍
@@YTDTETV oh right, i did wonder, ive seen a few folk using smaller fans on primer, just thought maybe its a "thing" haha. looked great when it was done so no harm done
"Those that are of a fillernervous disposition might want to click away". 😄How thoughtful of you to show concern for the sensitive viewers!
😂
This has to be my favourite channel on TH-cam.
The caddy build playlist was an awesome watch.
Oh yeah 🤙
Thank you for the video Nathan. Cracking job you did there. The owner must have been very happy as the quarter is now indistinguishable from new and you've saved them a couple of grand to boot.

That's a bargain that. Some fine work there Sir 👌🧙♂️

Good explanation on cost v level of repair. It's not a concourse classic 911 at the end of the day but the repair still looks spot on. Well done
Very nice indeed, i would be over the moon with that repair for £800, worth every penny and then some. Top work! Looking forward to the next one.
Ahhh yehhh, another cracking video, that caddy is like brand new, great work Nathan
That's a perfect job!!! Over 2k cheaper than a new pannel pukka job!
You are an artist mate. Pleasure to watch a true craftsman
Beautiful repair. You are a magician!!!

Outstanding work, nobody would ever know, well priced too
All the hard work pays off, awesome video! And thanks for showing the Porsche!!
Really good job mate. Less interior panel removal to allow for a slower time lapse of dent removal (the tasty bit) 👍
Beautiful job.You are very talented mate.👍.Stunning little whippet!

Definitely Pay Rise material 😉👌
Preparation is 99% of the job mate, without that you’ll end up with shit job. Definitely worthy of a pay rise 👍🏼
Nice job !!
Takk!
I appreciate that a body shop is focussed on paint, but would you ever consider doing PDR? I appreciate it's a dark art in itself
PDR isn’t going to work on damage like that
@@brianstorm4806 no, there is obvious paint damage and that's not what I was referring to. Some skills would be transferrable, like metal manipulation surely. It would save on some other simpler jobs as well surely? That's why I raised the question
When you take out your rear light use a deflated basket ball then inflate it slow till it pops the dent out
Ah yea mate, can’t complain at that repair, quality I’d have been well happy. I had a dent done recently on me courier sliding side door work van and you can still see the primer on the side of door gap 😂 ah yea!
Nice job but I think you made it look harder than what it is
Minter of a job that ! Oh yeah
The fella must of been over the moon £800 bargain 👍
Edges always first when spraying son.😅
Cracking job ahh yeh
The time lapse was epic ending 12.25 👌🏽
As allways love the video, but I must say your overalls with the blue badge made it seem as if you was forensics doing a search 😅😅
Ah yeah 😊
I need you to do my 5.1!
Did you pick the pup up from Stanhope by any chance?
can i ask why you use such a small fan on the primer? is it just to get more material down or what. i m not criticising, just wondering, cheers
Hi bud I noticed that while editing the footage, you are right 👍 the primer gun I used needed to be cleaned out but I was right there so just went with it. When the gun is cleaned out proper the fan pattern is a lot bigger. Thanks bud 👍
