Ah yea made me laugh the sponge drop 😂 good video mate liked the end blooper real 😂 I’ve had a few caddy’s started with the original 1.9 one on a 52 plate which was solid, then a 2k 2.0sdi which was bomb proof but slow, then two 1.6’s both of which took out injectors and egr’s so went back to a t5.1 after that. Like you say the interweb does only hi-light the issues, not many come on to say ah yea mines never gone wrong!

Recently subscribed and loving the channel. You are clearly a genuine person and down to earth, which makes your videos very watchable. I’m in the dog sport scene, I do IGP, tracking and obedience. Everyone at shows usually has a Ford van of some kind, a few caddy’s about… I’m currently driving just an SUV but a caddy is the dream! ❤

Hi, I live in Sevastopol and have been subscribed to you for a long time, and I also want such a party, it's a pity that we don't have it, I put the BKD engine in the BST place, put 19 discs and the entire front part from the touran, I plan to put the air suspension on, I already buy everything, I don't dare to put it yet there is no drawing back earrings in the spring)))
Love the Caddys I've got a 1.9 TDI having issues with smoke when cold but fine when warmed up turbo and injectors been done egr mapped out soo still a confusing issue
@@YTDTETV it smokes till it's got a bit of temp in it like 50 ish degrees coolant temp struggles to start when cold aswell but once warmed right up it restarts fine

Get people to explain and show you exactly what was involved in some of the more unusual and interesting mods. Like the vans with Air Ride, the guy with the glass roof, vans with engine swaps etc

I thought the same thing about the 1 6 injectors - that you only hear the bad stories and thus it was over hyped - so decided to buy a really clean ex BG MK4 Maxi that had been looked after and was low miles (under 40k) and I’ve done 3 injectors in 2 years in fact one of the replacement ones failed so I’ve done 4 on the 3 cylinders. I guess I’m unlucky but there does seem to be something in the rumours!
I do see a lot of posts about the injectors, I think they overheat and the crystal in the injector fails, I do question if it’s the DPF causing extra heat and cooking the injectors.
Nathan, I have an update regarding the wheels we discussed at the meet... There is no update as the tyre supplier let me down 🤦 Hopefully have better news in a weeks time. Cheers, Clive
