I have a nissan elgrand, i used to hav a 2006 Caddy. i miss my caddy. great on fuel. my Elgrand is terrible and the cost difference ive realised i could just get a car loan for a new caddy and im still ahead! thanks for posting this. it gave me that flicker of happiness again.
Great finish....but why didn’t you show the work being done from start to finish?...it literally went from sound deadening being fitted to the finished product in a second. Really would of liked to of seen the whole start to finish procedure....
Hi, I have vw caddy, done a similar conversion myself, I can’t find the pillar trims to cover the bulkhead gaps around edges, do u know where I can buy them can’t seem to find them anywhere?
So how much do you really loose on having two large windows non-insulated in a small space like this, is it even worth insulating at all if you don't insulate it all? I mean in a house with single layer windows you can feel the cold from 2m away.
Very nice job done to a very high standard there James. Maybe also consider adding the hansshow tesla model 3 trunk and frunk kit mods to you portfolio since there are no installers in this area :)
we recently did the back of our caddy similar to this with a few extra bits, for sleeping in and transporting mountain bikes. theres a video on out channel if your interested. -Mike
At first, I would put mineral wool and foam in. To isolate the car, to keep warm or cool. And this can reduce noise too. And after this, I would mount the aluminium foil.
100%. Mineral wool makes so much difference. Makes the build more difficult for these guys though. This job probably took them half a day and cost thousands to the customer
@@pete801 I got many glas wool for free, from my neighbours. When their house project has finished. And over 30 styrofoam panels from another house project. And big foam wrap rolls cheap from a company, who sells material for packing products for transportation. But I know, that prices are in GB a bit higher, as here in Germany. If you buy something. But I look allways for other ways, to buy it cheaper.
@@pete801 i had too often too cold in my life. So I need a diesel heater, and a good warm isolation in my minicamper van. I heard from many owners, that the vw caddy is very good and reliable. Many bought them used from the german post company. The german post buy his cars cheaper, with a huge discount. Because he order so many. But with his own leasing company. So they safe more money by his less tax payment. Because leasing. After three years the leasing contract is over, and they sell it to everybody. But price 5.000 pounds each car, but in good condition.
Is it completely free? I don't mind paying, but when someone says it is free, then one expects it to be free! If I need to pay, just tell me! (Nobody likes hidden costs) Cheers dx
Yes you're totally right, we don't price anything on Social Media or TH-cam videos! This is because every vehicle is different, may require more or less of certain elements. As such we work all pricing out that is specific to the vehicle and the customer requirement. We also have to remember the cost of materials and products go up all the time. If we say it costs X amount and somebody says in a few years time, "Well you said it was X Amount" those prices aren't relevant any more! If we do a job, we do it properly from start to finish and this includes the initial first contact! If you're serious and interested in getting your vehicle done, get in touch with us through the main website on the listing below and we can work it all out.
One of more popular videos which has generated a lot of conversions so it can't be that bad. I think in this industry you get what you pay for. Buy cheap buy twice...

Instead of ordering side trim
You can cut the edges of the bulkhead and bolt back in place. Saves money and time
Awesome work!

If they showed everyone how to do it step by step then they probably wouldn't have much of a business
Nice job! How much would this be for a be caddy maxi? Sound proof. Insulation. Fabric and 6 led lights?

Did you guys not do the roof of cab and front doors?
Great work guys, I did something similar with my ex British gas caddy.
Yes it's a great vehicle to work on!

Total overkill and a complete waste of money
