I really love the MKE 600 for how it has the nice high-end detail and also the warmer low end. I have the MKH 416 too but I actually think there's too much high-end and not enough warmth for my ears on my voice. Cool sound test, both sounded awesome on your voice.
I agree the MKE 600 is an outstanding microphone punches way above its price tag. I do feel like it competes with the 416 and to most of us has a more pleasing sound because of the warmer tone of the microphone
