That was nice :-) My Dad used to run a garage he inherited from hid dad, started around this time. He still into the 1990s had a wooden cash register that you wrote the price on in pencil, on a paper roll! Still did everything: petrol, repairs, old and new cars... And in the mechanics' break room they had saucy pin up photos.. It wasn't quite as old-fashioned looking as this, though you can see it must have evolved from something like this a few years before I knew it
