- This is the Feiyue FY08 Tiger, it's a brushless ready to run RC desert truck with all you need in one handy box! This particular model comes with a 2s lipo, two spare wheels and a pack of tools with pinions.

The FY08 Tiger is 1/12th scale and includes waterproof electronics. The 35A ESC supports up to 3s lipo meaning this truck will shred the ground even harder and then wheelie for fun!
I received roughly 15 minutes full throttle drive time with this model in the video today, but remember you can purchase larger higher capacity packs to run for longer bash times!
The one let down with this truck is the friction shocks, however you can purchase upgraded oil filled shocks from Geekbuying.

For anyone looking to buy it 3:45 make sure the sway bar is connected in the rear, you can see it disconnected here right behind the rear shock. It helps a lot with handling.
Yes, and it's connected later in the video, yet no mention of it. This guy comes off more as a salesman (click the link below!) than a true reviewer. Not much integrity there I don't think.
They are pretty awesome trucks for the money. I really like the body and cage, looks great either with the shell on or off.
The only major flaw IMO is that they cannot corner on road without flipping. Especially if you're going at speed and slow down to corner, they weight transfer just sends them flying. This version introduced a rear sway bar but it doesn't seem to make much difference.
It happens to all the cars in this chassis, fy03, fy07, even the 6wd version.
If you keep to the loose dirt and other surfaces they like that they are really good!
Great video love this brushless system I have it in all my 1/12 rc and you can run a 30c 11.1 volt 3s battery and its a wheelie machine

The shock can be filled, however, you will need to put some o-rings in too

What battery are you using the one that came in the box?
Hi Jake! Is this orange body painted from the inside? The grey and blue ones have paint on the outside but it wears off really fast.
This one might be better! Wish the body had more details though
Edit: lol i just realized this isn’t tomley RC garage, this is Jake! Tomley had another blue brushed version of this truck

Hope Traxxas doesn't see this video with this truck having horizontal shocks we all know they invented that 😋👍 this is actually a decent platform i have the 6x6 brushless version of this truck they sell for only 80 bucks on eBay and it's 6 wheel drive

2:34 you can just put oil in the shocks you dont need to change them to oil filled shocks

My car came and I plugged it in after charging the battery and it has a flashing red light nothing works can anybody help me before I send it back

This is a mediocre design, with the battery sitting too high and way back in the vehicle. The factory shocks are a waste of time too... This makes it an excellent project though: Some oil-filled, slightly shorter shocks will lower the COG and improve the handling. A clever battery relocation will improve things further! Overall, it's an excellent buy if you like cheap upgrades.
Fitting a reliable 3s/ESC/motor combo is simply not worth the money, a good battery makes it fast enough for this price range...
