The price point is a little steep. This does the same job as the Yeti in my opinion, and you can grab the yeti for half the price. Thanks for the first look, Great vid frank!
Honestly I have a Yeti and it sounded the same if not better than the mic test he did for this one.... 200 dollars is not worth it for a usb mic. You're practically paying the extra hundred for the brand name.
Zak Villanueva at the end of the day all frank can offer you is his own opinion. This video is for you to decide for yourself if the quality is there or not. Personally, I hear no difference between this and the yeti. Honestly 90% of condenser usb mics that aren’t being fed through an interface can only sound so good.
All right if you have an Xbox one s or Xbox one I can help you set it up. First, you need a 3.5mm splitter, and a 3.5 mm double ended cable. Plug one end of the 3.5 mm cable into your razer seiren x or elite headphone jack, then one the mic side of the 3.5 mm splitter and then, plug in your headphone into the other side of the 3.5 mm splitter. Last step plug the 3.5 mm splitter into your Xbox one s controller. (For the Xbox one controller you need an adapter) ok once you got the adapter plug it into the controller then plug the 3.5 mm splitter into the Xbox one controller. I hope this helped😊

the point of the light on the microphone is actually to show that the mic is active and picking up sounds, but IMHO it should just be solid red rather than blinking
$200 is WAY too steep for a usb microphone, you can get a Focusrite Scarlett Solo Studio with a mic and interface for that money not to mention you have a path to upgrade as you have a decent interface at that point.
thank god a new angle on himself. i stopped watched him for awhile just because of the camera that he placed; now that the angle is better, the lighting is on point.ç well done

Do you think this is a good mic for cancelling car noise, because I live on a busy street where there is cars passing all the time and I’m next to the window and hearing you about that pass feature kinda makes me happy that this might actually work but what do you guys thing?
I thought This was one of the worst microphones I’ve ever purchased. The headphones socket on it hissed horribly, and the controls for the gain and the volume were very plasticky and not calibrated. Level into the laptop was very low. Lots of desk thumping if you use the stand supplied with it.
I HAVE A QUESTION -IF YOU KNOW PLS ANSWER !!! im planing on gettin' a new mic and I have two in my mind , the first one is the seiren pro and the second on is the seiren elite , i just want to know which is the best because where i live they have the same price ,but idk which to buy! PLS HEEEEEELP
Probably late to reply this, the seiren pro is discontinued by Razer, I don’t know why but you won’t get anymore support having that product. As for the elite it’s the newest model and currently being supported. Only difference I know is the aesthetics and the cool OLED screen on the pro. My recommendation is go for the elite for warranty/updated support.
Audio Technica AT2020 for $100 and Behringer mixer for $50 and $10 for the cables. You save about $40 and get a better mic in my opinion. studio grade audio for about $170 instead of the $200
That's a really helpful review. Which microphone do you use for actually making this video? It's nice and clear, has a rich sound, and isn't visible in the shot.
This mic is like 200 dollars. I know that the whole "For gamers, by gamers" makes this a lot more expensive, but from Razer, I could've expected like a boom arm and a mouse or something. A blue snowball is like 50 bucks and probably just as good or better
We do not need rob lighting on a microphone 🎤 is it???? My question is why the heck not...if they can put those RGBs on toasters ....THEN MY QUESTION IS WHY THE HELL NOT🤔🤔
I bought this microphone for the fun of it, but I still can't figure out whether or not synapse is used for this microphone as it is not showing up on both the synapses on my computer
Yeah it's probably overpriced, but for $200 they should at least have a more customized mic stand where you can change the height. You don't wanna spend extra money on top of the $200 for a boom mic stand.
for some reason the light to mitigate the noise is always on with my microphone even though its super quiet, my friends have also said that my voice is very low even though I have my volume all the way up. Any way to fix this or is my microphone not working?

See this is really nice i wish i would've gotten this when i got my mic. Because i got a audio-technica usb for like $175 and yeah it is a great mic but it took a very long time to get it tuned perfect and i have to have a keybind to mute it and stuff. I think i would like that one better because it's just plug and play everything is right in front of you and it already sounds great and a little bit of tuning can make it sound even better. i don't know it might just be me but i think it's well worth the $200. Also great video keep up the good work
most likely worst due to the razer being a usb microphone and a condenser microphones have thinner film and more sensitive capsules making the quality much higher.

Hi, thanks for a nice review! I do have some questions... How good is this mic comparing to Razer Seiren X/ BLUE Yeti? For streamers, which of this mics is the best for not picking up the noice of a keyboard? Thanks :)
I am interested in buying it and I would like to ask you a question. In windows 7, when you go to the volume control - recording devices and you select this mic > properties > level, does it have an option to unmute the mic and listen to it directly? I need to know if I can hear my voice directly on headphones otherwise it won't be useful to me. Using headphones on the mic wouldn't be useful because I need to hear the music playing on the pc at the same time. I would appreciate it if you could check that for me. Thanks in advance!

with the right software or be going into recording devices in windows selecting your microphone and click on properties and go to the listen tab an check "listen to this device" and windows will give you a live feed back of your mic. works for headsets too.
