To watch a master craftsman like yourself breathing new life into a broken camera is wonderful to behold.
I watched your repair of the Minolta XD5 and that was mind blowing.
Now you've done same with Olympus PEN EE3. It's great to watch and long may it continue.
I should send you mine 😭😫
great restoration!
Nice work! Can we see a few shots taken with it?
Yes of course. Now I am bringing this camera almost everywhere I go. I will upload soon when first roll of film is completed.
Films are expensive these days and I can’t shot as much as I want to be 🥲.
I have just watched your meticulous renovation of the Olympus pen. fantastic skills. I own a Olympus Pen and i am on the lookout for a person to help me, it will not wind the film on. I am very aware and have not foced the winder. I love these half frame cameras, even more since the horrific increase in film prices. I am 64 years old and would love it if you were here in England and would consider repairing my camera. I believe it to be one of the best looking designs ever. Please let me know how i might contact you. Many thanks. Mark
Sorry I am not in England. I believe there are a lot of repair professionals in England. Hope you get your gear working again!
Very nice, you showed the entire process of servicing, thank you, please let me know the address of servicing center where I may get my same camera be repairrd?
I am from Thailand. I am moving out to BKK in few months. Thanks for supporting my channel!
Big fan of your work. What leatherette glue and paint brand are you using?
The one used in this video is normal solvent-based cement like pilobond. But my favorite is eco-white leather glue which has almost no odor and is easier to apply. Solvent-based adhesives are stronger. Any kind of 2k polyurethane paint is fine for the paint. You can get it easily in any automotive paint shop. Make sure you use the aluminum self-etching primer for the base.
