Teslacam Stories is a series of Tesla owners real experiences told by the Tesla Dashcam and Sentry Mode videos. All incidents are recorded from Tesla vehicles and submitted to this channel by other Tesla enthusiast. I contact each person who send me their videos to talk with them and learn more about their story and to follow up what happened after what we see on their video. Voice over and captions are added to describe what happened, and why. I believe that this additional information regarding the incident gives the videos a newsworthy value.
From the footage and additional information, a viewer can learn the consequences of bad driving and can educate his/her self with better driving safety. This process also gives the videos a great educational value. It is my desire to add my own unique and creative value in a transformative way to ensure you enjoy and learn from the videos being presented.

There is no expectation of privacy in public, and thus fully legal to show clear faces.
Theres no need to blur anyone's face, regardless of setting... if you weren't doing anything wrong, its publicity, if you were doing something illegal, like stealing... you reap what you sow.

what doe sit add to the insurance as it 1 increases the value of the car and 2 - it has reduced the structure strength of the car and I guess 3 - you have MOD your car so could also increase insurance cost there is also a 4 - the car is now easier to steal as you can get in just cut the roof

I believe it’s been this way for a long time. It’s just now that Tesla’s Sentry mode has allowed us an inside look into the way these thieves operate.

I was waiting in the car while my dad went to go pay for the parking ticket and then suddenly the music started playing at max volume and it traumatised me. It went on for a minute and then stopped for a minute and played again. I had a panic attack

when all cars have something like this I have a feeling "car shopping" for criminals is going to go down fast.. Nothing more infuriating then coming to your car and it was broken into, hopefully you are smart enough in a rough area to not leave anything valuable in plain site.. but the broken window is so expensive and if its in winter time or raining it just adds that much more.. I had a car broken into twice at my work ( circuit city) they always went after the stereo and any after market speakers. Even if you had a stereo with the face removal feature. Tesla thinks of everything don't they just tamazing.

It's because the roof glass is structural. They have to do a bunch of reinforcement to maintain the structural integrity of the car.

There an easy fix to most break-ins: Get a full tint! I never had a break-in attempt anymore after getting mine! These thiefs always have a look inside the car before smashing the windows. With a tint they can't see anything and leave.
