Teslacam Stories is a series of Tesla owners real experiences told by the Tesla Dashcam and Sentry Mode videos. All incidents are recorded from Tesla vehicles and submitted to this channel by other Tesla enthusiast. I contact each person who send me their videos to talk with them and learn more about their story and to follow up what happened after what we see on their video. Voice over and captions are added to describe what happened, and why. I believe that this additional information regarding the incident gives the videos a newsworthy value.
From the footage and additional information, a viewer can learn the consequences of bad driving and can educate his/her self with better driving safety. This process also gives the videos a great educational value. It is my desire to add my own unique and creative value in a transformative way to ensure you enjoy and learn from the videos being presented.

What is the theory as to why so many people hate teslas and want to damage them?
They probably had jobs related to oil and or gas and they are blaming Tesla’s for the collapse or downsizing of their industry.
They're just small minded people. You can only feel pity for them. They'll change eventually.
Some are conservative extremists who are climate change deniers and are opposed to electric vehicles and other "green technology" like solar and wind power. Others are just jealous haters who think that all Teslas cost $100K+.
The reason people key super cars, they bring attention and people hate that.

The other day I parked in a remote part of the Safeway parking lot so no other cars would be next to me. When I came out 10 minutes later there was a young lady sitting in her car parked about a foot away from my car. I could barely open my driver's side door to get in. I just don't understand some people. Next time I'll park on Mars.
Same thing has happened to me many times, the last time was at a Longhorn's Steak House restaurant. I couldn't get between my car and the truck that parked next to me. I had to go inside and ask who owned the truck. He was a grown man with two other grown people with him but when he went to move his truck he cussed me out for like several minutes, and I still don't know why since it was his fault.

I don't get that. First time I saw a tesla I remember where it was. Seems to me I was blowing by it at 75-80 MPH in my Caddy keeping up with traffic. I thought - Damn, that's a Tesla! By that time I was down the road. Came across the same car I think the next day about the same spot on the highway. I was much slower and checked it out. After this covid crap, I don't seem to see them much. It was like seeing a Ferrari or Lambo.
I really don't get vandalizing or even touching it. They need to teach ethics and such in schools again.

Anyone else get more worried about their sentry mode than feel good about the security? 😂 I’ve had one girl flip off my car, multiple dudes look back like they are all tough, and it honestly makes me worried it’s just going to get keyed or damaged.

You may have missed the sarcasm for that entire clip, he hyperbolized the event to make it more entertaining. He had no intention of, and did not, warp the truth.

I just got my three Teslas. I think I am going to want to install some sound effects to scare off vandals. Make it sound like a person is in the car. Also, I should be able to see on my phone in real-time when someone is up to shenanigans near my cars and yell at them. Like a ring doorbell. We need external speakers on the car.
Most of the Teslas made after 2019 have external speakers AFAIK. Boombox feature was recently (like a few days ago) disabled OTA because it could potentially cancel out the mandatory pedestrian warning signal though.

I love when people submit from places I used to live. So far I’ve got Reno NV, Sparks NV, Oatman AZ, and Phoenix AZ. I love these episodes! I’ll be sure to submit when I get my Model Y.

Towing companies are usually humongous dicks so i doubt tesla owner got repaid
@@Anthony-fo8no which is why I’d go out of my way to make them pay every single penny, so paint and a new front drive unit, since they appeared to have towed it with the front wheels in the ground. Sue them for everything.

I love these videos! There was one time where I had accidentally set off sentry mode on a Tesla Model 3. Stopped at the mall and parked next to a Tesla. Got out the car, and triggered Sentry mode. I had no idea until I had looked and the screen on the dashboard. I thought it was a cool experience for me, since I one day hope to own a Tesla myself.
To be honest I couldn’t afford a new Tesla. But if I purchased another brand of new vehicle. I would love to have that Tesla security system in the vehicle. Those sensors and cameras are amazing. Catching the idiots trying to mess with someone’s vehicle.
This makes me want to actually look at my sentry videos... they archive automatically when I get home.. never look at them unless I need them though... only 700 to check!

Checks the distance to things, if you get too close to a stationary Tesla and the laser is on it will flash you to warn you off.

Just to inform you, you really should pay attention with clips from Germany regarding privacy laws. Normally every license plate number and face must be blurred if the persons don’t say they agree with being shown.
das ist voll dumm wenn man in die Öffentlichkeit geht muss man damit rechnen gefilmt zu werden und die Nummernschilder kann da auch jeder lesen. Ohne diese Reglung hätte ich auch schon ein paar clips zum Einsenden

It would be helpfully if “Wham Baam Teslacam” would blurred this (I know this is a lot of work). Because there is right now a discussion in Germany to forbid the sentryMode and filming when you drive. :(
And this doesn’t help. The German law says that it can cost you up to 200.000,00 €.

I had a brand new Tesla before it was totaled 2 weeks in by someone who ran a stop sign and hit me. I had the same issues. So much attention all the time from pedestrians and motorists. It's a CAR. It doesn't look that much different than most CARS. 4 doors, tires and wheels. good grief. Makes me almost not want to get another one all the idiots and jealous people out there.
