im pretty sure some guy said that the official dark souls twitter account posted that elden ring and dark souls are at least in the same dimension. though what im thinking is he feels the players presence in any character that we play and just hunts them to inflict mental trauma
@@cottonmather1969 She has some similarities to DS3 firekeeper, but those similarities aren't even the same. Different voice, different stance, even biggest similarity of eye-covering is very different.
Apparently its a co-op survival boss rush game with premade classes and roguelite elements so my guess is the blue flames are basically what you have to run from (it will probably kill you) and you have to kill bosses after bosses to progress.
Yeah, for what ive seen, you have to survive for 3 days killing enemies/bosses and every night fight a big boss and on the last one a "bigger" one, the fire zone is like the fornite zone at the end of the day you have less map to explore and equip yourself for that night and at the start of the next day the zone starts again from 0 so you can return to the places you may missed on the previous days but all the enemies lvl up too so that does mean if you skipp first enemies you cant return to them on the second day searching for an easy fight

Nameless King was 1 to 1 silhouette with lightning spear to top it off. The only similarity to firekeeper is eye covering, which isn't even 1 to 1 at that. Even her voice is different.
Finding out it’s basically a mini Baytle Royal game that’s against AI engines that even has a Fortnite battle bus drop style and a ring that closes the longer you play. Gonna be interesting how this is received by fans of the souls like when it launches
I may be in the minority but I always wanted something like the Borderlands 3 Arms Race. They kinda did it with chalice dungeons awhile back. Going in to battle in a time crunch and coming out with new gear seems cool. If that's what it is lol
@@lockekappa500 It's not a BR. channels like IGN and PC Gamer have gameplay breakdowns (they played an early dev copy). It's a Roguelike that's playable either solo or as a trio with 8 premade classes. Gameplay loop is each run lasts three in game days (15 minutes each) where you loot up, can fight world bosses for loot, then at the end of the day the ring funnels you, BR style, to a boss. Defeat him and the next day starts, repeat until the third night where you fight the most difficult boss.
I was so shocked when I saw The Nameless King. All the Soulsborne lore experts are going to go crazy trying to explain this.
Either they'll find a way to explain this, or everyone is just going to agree this is non canon 🤣

This is just a spin-off game using bosses from Souls and Elden Ring, maybe from other games as well. There is no "lore" connection.
@somedogsarecops2354 You talk as if you've already played it.
I was about to make the "A surprise to be sure..." comment, and you beat me by a split second XD
No way?? Hahaha
They're about to commit some glorious asset re-usage with that one! (and I'm all for it)
Is it still too early for me to say the re-use of assets is actually the average Elden Ring experience even in main game? 🙋🏻♀️
@@WhimsyPsyche haha probably not

@shimik11 Yes, at the core of the blue circle the main boss of that round waits and you're preparing for that while the circle closes.
Fromsoft keeps on getting better
elden ring, you can fly, climb like in parkour, dodge, and co op too?
definitely some Sekiro moves in there
When they come out the gate swinging once again :P (did some some back checking it's pretty dope)
Literally just dropping a whole damn DLC and now a whole damn standalone a couple of months apart is crazy work tbh
Is it me or was that the firekeeper from ds3 as well ?
I only planned to finish the Elden ring playthrough I started in 2025 and the dlc in 2026. Wdym now I have to rush it?

I figured it was a BR with that firey circle closing in and covering the site of grace.

That's not a battlebus, it's your hawk for traversal at specific locations kinda like torrent but not really
its not a pvp, just pve co-op.
