- I stayed 24 hours in this capsule hotel in Singapore. I am a bigger guy so I was curious to see how this worked out. it is also the cheapest hotel in Singapore so I wanted to give it a try.

Good because it was the first time I went abroad alone. Bad because that's where I got the email for being rejected at my dream University.

Thanks for sharing. I grew up in Singapore and myself and 2 of my buddies that I went to high school with will be heading there next Spring. We talked about staying in a hostel and are considering the Cube in either Kampong Glam or Chinatown.

My advise is pls avoid newton food center at all cost. There are plenty of good food all over the island. Go where local goes.

Can you please tell me how you entered Asia or Vietnam? I have called multiple locations for travel and they all told me you cannot enter Vietnam unless you were a Vietnamese American….

There's no issue for foreign tourists to enter Singapore and Indonesia, as both countries as recently open for tourists. All you need to do is showing your vaccination status and the latest covid test. Don't even need to quarantine either.
Would you say the hostels are pretty social, or easy to meet other solo travelers? Looks like not many people were staying in your specific one haha. Good for some people I guess

Just wondering, I see everyone around you wearing a mask but you didn't have one on. Are masks not necessary for travel inSingapore?
outdoor mask wearing is optional, but indoor mask wearing is mandatory =) hope you guys can visit Singapore =) miss all the tourists that add to the city's vibrancy
