Finally someone who gives this game the attention that it deserves 👍 agree with your review and final score! I have the Kickstarter version here with inserts, some little expansions like the spades and ponds and the very nice neoprene playmat. But the pieces you have are exactly like the deluxe ones... If you want the upgrades or the KS version, I think you still can find them online.

Do you ever find that the sprite tokens clog the tiles and make them hard to work with? Knocking sprites over all the the, etc? I'm not the clumsiest person, but I don't want to be constantly nudging pieces off tiles by accident and having to clean up the board state

I picked this game up kind of randomly a few months ago for half off during a holiday sale at an online shop. It was one of those things where I could have paid $7-10 for shipping, or I could add a cheap game to the order to get free shipping. This game fell into my cheap game range and looked like it had a decent rating on BGG. I think in the end I wound up paying a net of $5 for this game, as it was more than the cost of shipping. However, it's still sitting in shrink wrap since I'm more focused on the games that I intentionally ordered, but now I'm curious to try this one out too. I mostly play big, long games with friends but have been adding shorter games with some decent crunch to the mix over the past year or two, and it sounds like this might fit nicely into that category.

Oh yeah, it's really easy to get to the table, so would work well as a final game to wind down if you are finishing up a night and want to play something but have to leave/go to sleep in an hour.

Need a “I’m only watching the first 5 seconds”, sheesh… Less Chris George, more getting back to my life!
