You can sit on the tree but only if it is old enough
if i'm correct, the bulletin board can only have 15 announcements at a time

I believe Town #2 has Night Owl Ordinance. That's my preferred ordinance, and it's probably why the Nookings are up so late.
I think T&T close at 1am. Could have been why.

Yeah I used to have jaxin's town 😢 he gave up his beautiful rich old town and took it to the store and It remain on the store until mom decided to buy the game card which has jaxin's old town I so sad that this stranger will never be able to visit his old rich town again so I decided to keep it because I don't want to delete it because if I do it he be sad and will miss his friends he has that I don't know I have not played this jaxin's town for 2 or 1 years😢 it a emotional damage🥺🥺 😭😭
I would buy SO MANY copies of ACNH if you could have different save file islands on separate game cartridges and not separate switches😭
God I wish I could afford multiple switches just for save files
I would buy a Switch just got Animal Crossing if it wasn't for Nintendo being so stupid about that. I had 2-3-4 towns going on the Gamecube version.

i recently bought new leaf off of someone on ebay and noticed their town was fully developed! it sparked a curious sense in me and i decided to see how much it was worth. IT WAS WORTH THE MAXIMUM AMOUNT OF MONEY IN THE GAME.
@Hatsune MIku sue files on everything before switch saved to the cartridge not the device--meaning you can take your cartridge from one game boy advance or so or DS and put it in another and your game loads. On a switch it saves to the console--I'm not sure for all games but for ACNH I'm super sure, you can take that cartridge and put it in another switch and will have to start over. On a switch, many games will let you do new save files when you make a new profile, but ACNH will just add a new house to the main game. No separate save files allowed.
@@norabarnes9235 I think on the switch you can have your Nintendo profile exist on multiple consoles, and idk, but it seems like if you did that, you should be able to playvon ur save, but again, I don't know that much about Nintendo games tbh
Idk if anyone else has pointed it out but the last town that was only days old could have restarted their town and done the buyout thing where Nook buys the old town and you start the new town with the Bells in your savings.
This was a cool adventure. Fascinating to see the direction everyone took. I love doing something similar with old pokemon games.
I love this! ❤ I bought a Nintendogs game online years ago, I didn’t have the heart to delete their save data and get rid of the dog. So I kept it! Fast forward to years later, today, I still take care of it. ❤
This reminded me of when I bought a used copy of Pokémon soul silver, complete with lugia and the spiky eared pichu, except younger me erased the data to start over 😔
Would have been interesting to see if there were any designs on display for the able sisters. That could have been interesting to see if someone had messed about with that feature.
What fun! I always wondered what the abandoned towns on used copies of ACNL would look like. Well, now that I wrote that it doesn't sound so fascinating, but really it was! What a great and original idea for a video. I'd love to watch more like this one. Thanks.

I always just looked up the real and fake art online. I still have a few I don't have yet.
I would DEFINITELY like to see this as a series.
When I got rid of my acnl game, I must’ve left a couple mil bells and tones of fruit and items.
I reckon by now the new owner must have deleted my file after cashing in on stuff.
Seeing these towns in their earlier stages gives me a lot of nostalgia. I honestly miss the days when this game was more active.

i feel like a lot of these mayors probably just restarted their town recently before selling, thinking it might bring them interest in the game again, like the last player probably had a developed town and restarted, so tom nook bought their old town
This makes me want to play my New Leaf save file again. I haven't in months. Seeing these towns in their early forms reminds me of when I first began my New Leaf save file. I forgot about how there was a little bucket or something that you could sit on in the lot where Leif's shop would go.
If you sit on the brick where the big tree is planted, it’ll tell you the date everything happened in the town. When it started when people moved in etc!

I actually remember going through somebody's old Wild World town when I bought a second copy to get Nookingtons. It was an interesting trip down memory lane!
the way that some of these are most likely kids' old games and towns is such a cute thought, i remember being 10 and getting acnl and feeling the joy of playing it :)
I sold my used copy of ACNL a while ago, and I had a fully decorated town. I wish you would have picked up mine!
I had custom pathing, many many MANY bushes acting as fencing, 3 villagers (I think) one of them called 'teacher' since I made ones building a school with a playground courtjard and a bell.... I dont remember much more, but it was pretty nice, I think i even had a police station..

Oh yeah, I forgot NH removed the additional fruit. Man, NH really did drop the ball hard.
NH is the worst AC game. It’s not a bad game. Just not a good AC game.
This makes me really miss my og save from back in 2013. I sadly don't have my 3DS anymore and I used the eshop variant of ACNL so that old save is defo not coming back. I'm gonna have to get another 3DS and a copy of ACNL to play through the game again. So many other 3DS games that I've missed out on over the years, for example, the Pokémon games. I never got round to finishing any of the Mario and Luigi games either.
Maybe I'll even have to record videos on my next ACNL playthrough. I'm sure I'll have a hard time getting a capture card modded 3DS though.
I think you seem nit to realise how far they got in the game. Like honestly I think most of them should have spent like a hundred hours on the game before selling it, it's not like they just tried it and sold it out. I may have 200-300
hours on my cartridge and my art galerie is still empty.
I'm guessing the new kind of players grind it fast where as back then fans played it laxed. Or they just forgot how long it actually took them to get to the top, forgetting the effort that went into it.

Sounds like the last towns a restart. Put all the money from their old town into the ABD and then lost inspiration
i recently got a new leaf welcome amiibo copy and they have a bunch of legend of Zelda clothing and the houses are all super well decorated. it was pretty cool so i am just going to keep the save and add my own character to the town.
Wouldn't any used copies you play on your 3DS automatically link into the DLC for the welcome amiibo update on your system?

When I'm long dead someone is going to find my old new leaf game and play it out of curiosity and there's something really appealing about that idea
Personally if I had Vesta in my town, I would never abandon that save file. But that’s just me

(6:59) I somehow think the update was installed on your 3DS and the person who played that copy stopped before the update was released, but I can't remember if 3DS game updates for physical copies were saved to the console, game card, or memory card.

I have three copies of New Leaf and all have saves on them but I keep forgetting about them ever since New Horizons came out.

My poor New Leaf villagers, not only have I probably lost all of the original ones, but I can never go back to it because my 3DS died.
Edit: It was new leaf welcome amibo, and if I recall correctly, I actually was very into the game. It's a shame that the game will never be played again, and probably reset once I give it to GameStop if they will take it

But it was interesting and nostalgic! I've been playing Animal Crossing since he GameCube (while using cheat codes :P). The GameCube and New Leaf games are the most nostalgic for me. But it was interesting to see how other people do their towns so differently

Seem like the towns of kids or people who didn’t know to look online about the game. When I played new leaf as a kid, there was just tons I didn’t even know existed. I didn’t know artworks were in the game, didn’t know about shampoodles or club lol, etc. there’s a lot of stuff in acnl you won’t unlock or will take forever to unlock unless you KNOW that it exists & how you get it
I got a Pokémon Soul Silver game at GameStop. The story wasn’t finished, but it had so many Pokémon. Specifically an Arceus and lots of other duplicate legendaries

I have two almost complete towns, and would totally buy new games instead of start again. I want to get some second hand games but I bet my luck the games are empty with no saves
You can also see if the museums in the towns have an upstairs. Some may been customizing their exhibits☺️👍

I think this shows perfectly the Problem with time traveling. You rush through the game and it's not fun anymore after just a very short time.

I have only play ACNH and recently ordered a wiped New Leaf game and am sooo excited!!! Ahh!!

Yesterday I bought a used 3ds cause I have 2 copies of new leaf one is my safe file and the other one I got for cheap to start a second town turns out the 3ds I bought came with another copy of acnl so now I have 3 copies

Looking at this video makes me want to restart my town in NL (with the Welcome Amiibo update) to better manage my bells. I spent most of my bells to upgrade my house instead of saving them for later. I have however have donated a lot of fish and fossils. I also have the campground PWP finished and museum PWP in progress. Starting those over is gonna be difficult but it may be worth it.
Also for my villagers I have Phoebe, Bunnie, Cranston, Moose, Angus, Jambette, Becky, Kyle and Truffles.

I've only played one day of my NL game (I've been kind of playing more of my WW game), but at least I put the 10.000 bells down payment for my new house before I stopped (I had to Google what to do with the bunch of wasp nests that I shook down. Couldn't find *ANY* medicine anywhere).
