Do you think this could buff out sanded clear coat. I wet sanded the clear with 2000 grit and now need to polish to a gloss finish. Still don't know if I want a noisy DA or something quiet like this
Well its really quiet, but that being said its not the most powerful. I'm not sure if its going to take out 2000 grit, probably 3000, and you would have to use the correct pad. It will take out oxidation. The thing is its pretty cheap so its not hard on the wallet, the pads alone are worth something in the kit. I don't know how much area you have, I have used it on panels, but not a whole car (it does come with two batteries). I guess I'm going off in the weeds here, but my answer is I'm not sure. Its not going to compete with the $300-500 Rupes and Flex, but then again its like $50 and it is super quiet.
@@natebuilds0083 Still holding up well. Its not going to do what a Flex or Rupes will do, but for minor scratch and haze removal it does work, and its very quiet which is nice.
There's a lot of different companies producing the exact same unit with different colors and different name but the same unit it's basically just a wax spreader. It doesn't have any power to do any real paint correction at all!!
Yes, when I tested it, it did remove minor scratches, and its great for polishing, but for correction, you need the Rupes or something with more power. I think for the price, for someone beginning you can't go wrong to tinker around. For what I paid the cost was almost the same as buying 4 Lake Country or Chemical Guys pads !! Thanks for the comment and Happy Friday to you.

I woiuld like to see how it holds up in the long run
I can't say for sure, but for the price, I think its pretty good. Just the cost of the pads alone are worth something. Appreciate the comment
@@GarageKing hows it holding?
