I read somewhere that “ the moon is beautiful tonight” is a saying in Japan for “I love you”. Don’t know if it’s true but I thought that was lovely.❤

Ok, lemme explain this I gotchu.
In Japanese, "The moon is beautiful" is "月が綺麗ですね(tsuki ga kirei desu ne)"
"Tsuki(moon)" sounds close to "suki" which means "like" or "love" depending on the context it is used.
It's a lowkey way of flirting with the person you like.

Wowsers Topher, you're the first reactor so far that understand completely the vision of the writer want us to see in Day's mom character. It's just mother's instinct, specially she is a single mother, she wants the best for Day. She wants someone who could truly take care of Day when he is in a relationship, someone who could bring food to their table when she wouldn't be able to in the future. This EP is healing, the separation of Mhok and Day as caretaker is both good for them. They are both more happier than ever, Day reconnecting with his family specially with Night and Mhok doing his best so that he could get mama's approval. Topher, you are truly amazing, your commentary and afterthoughts are just so insightful.

I love that every thought that you had is every thought that I had LOL.
I'm super worried about the episode 11 curse, but we know P'Aof knows how to move around BL cliches and curses to give us an incredibly beautiful story, so I'm really looking forward to what he's going to pull out of his hat of beautiful surprises for the last two episodes.

Giving this mother the benifit of the doubt is some bullshit. Or have some of you foegotten, this is the same woman who to punish her cheating hisband weaponized her children and kept them away from their father. Yes, he was a horrible huaband, that however doesn't mean he was a bad father. This is the same woman who in this very episode takes her sons phone away from him and changes the wifi password as punishment for talking to his boyfriend, in effect further isolating him and keeping him under her control. This is the same woman who is so worried about what will happen to Day when she's not there that she'd rather have him locked away in his room 'safe' so that he can't survive on his own. This is the same woman who refuses to listen to him about how he feels. This is the same woman who is so worried about Mhok being able to 'take care' of Day, that she neglects to see her son can take care of himself, he's blind not bedridden. This is the same woman who doesn't see Day as capable. We also saw how she uses Night's guilt over the accident to keep him in line. What about any of the above isn't toxic parenting? The excuse that she's a single mother is condescending. Being blind doesn't negate Day's ability to think for himself and make his own decisions. Being blind doesn't mean he deserves to be relegated to his room because his mother feels like she's losing him anyway. I call bullshit.

I agree - she was pretty horrible in this episode, I did not like her behaviour at all... She sort of makes more sense in episode 11, but that still does not explain or excuse her actions in ep 10

I couldn't wait when I saw this lol. I found it interesting that Day had to comfort his mother and not the other way around when they found out he was officially blind. Day has come a Long way. I love how Day didn't want another book and why would he when the book that he has makes him feel so happy(double meaning). In case you forgot, Day's new caretaker is the guy who was crying at the interview in episode 1. LMAO 🤣😂🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 not the "don't you mention him in this house, I just got over him" I'm weak!!!!!!!!
Oh and it's interesting that you said for Day not to be in the care of his mother cause if I remember correctly in episode 1 Day could have signed some papers for Night to become his caregiver instead of his mom since she travels so much for work. I think he might rethink signing those papers now that he's on better terms with Night.

Not bring back the dead dog! lol Mark contract states he must give us 1 good cry to get us crying too..the way this couple have evolved throughout this series. Day has become a confident functioning adult. Mhok went from this bad person to a soft kind hearted person that loves, cares for his man, and strived to better himself. Without Day he would not have taught himself to be a better cook. I cursed at mom the whole episode. The moon is beautiful is also a proverb that means I Love You

I know the mom got on a lot of peoples nerves throughout this episode but one this is a very difficult situation to navigate overall but I am glad to see her trying to fix thing a bit (baby steps). I think why she blames Night is the older sibling looking out for the younger sibling issue that plagues many of us in reality. Naturally I think if you are the older sibling yes you should look out for your younger sibling but I think it was compounded more when the parents divorced. She did not only lean on Night to look out for Day as a brother but probably like a father and since they weren't allowed to have contact with him Day only really had Night to look up to and having to be the one carrying Night home after getting drunk multiple times he started having issues with Night. It's very telling Night used drinking as a means to deal with the distance he felt from his mom cause like he said he was a mamas boy while Day was all about there dad but it shifted to Day at some point and got even more after the accident.
I am glad they are learning to heal and understand one another.
