The little prince scene was beautiful. Mhok as the fox and Day the little prince. The portrayal was wonderful. The scene was a beautiful but natural way of mirroring the start of MhokDay’s relationship. I also like the changed that had been made to the scene, It felt more like a intimate moment between the two, both felt understood and seen. The moment were Mhok asked Day to come and get his card from him by himself. To me it felt like the way Mhok was treating/talking to Day, he was telling Day ”I see/consider you as a regular person just like me”. While Day was telling Mhok ”I’ll give you a chance like everyone else/like no one else has”. It was like both were telling each other that both of them have to have courage to give each other and themselves a chance.
Such a strong first episode! You can see how hard everyone has worked to make this show the best it can be. Jimmy and Sea are making their characters really come to life; I thought they were both underrated in Vice Versa, and so far they are definitely bringing their A game to this show. Mark once again is proving what a versatile actor he actually is. I’m liking Namtan as Mhok’s ex, too. I’m expecting great things from this show.
I think the electronic monitoring thing on the ankle works dependently on each case and each sentence, like you’re restricted within designated areas, which can be personal property, city, country, but you have to come to report to the authority at appointed schedules.
I didn't expect to cry from the first ep i need to prepare the tissues for the next ones. Such a great first ep,it is definitely gonna be one of my fav bls this year
Leave it to director Aof and whoever does the editing/music selection for their shows to hit us right in the feels! Such a good first episode for a show. If it stays at this level, it will be truly phenomenal!
First time watching this! It's kinda relatable watching Day because my father had a stroke too and I'm the one that caregiving him and I understand how it feels to be on his brother side but also Day side :(
When they were interviewing those who had applied for the caregiver role. I cannot be the only one who felt exactly like Day. Day was not having any of it. I love his personality, him being sassy and using sarcasm ect. And when Day just said to end the interviews and implied how he felt like puking, I was like.. Sir I feel the same cause I feel like i’m going to have a headache if I’ll see one more person who applied to be a caregiver but is not fit to be one😂
I'm patiently waiting for the trailer song to release asap 😁 and the instrumental is so beautiful 😌 Dk why more peoples aren't watching. They're missing a gem fs. Love the way you add the song in the end. I hope they release it asap 😭 First time watching JimmySea but their acting is sooo damn good 🙌
When I tell you I was an emotional wreck when I finished the first episode and I’m an emotional wreck again right now. 😭💔 I knew since I first saw the mock trailer, I was gonna be in my feelings and I sure am…especially this was my most anticipated series for 2023 🥹💖. As someone with a disability, I still don’t know how it’s like to be in Mork’s shoes. I still know what it’s like to be looked at as incapable or “not normal” because how there is much ableism in this world. How that can really lower your self esteem, and I can see that with Day. Because of how people look at him weird and how his mom and Night treat him. Being born with a disability or it happening later in life to you, both experiences are valid and just as challenging for the person. Even with Day, him being able to see but then that being stripped away from him the next 💔 it can be traumatic and very difficult to adjust. Especially the grieving process of that person, which is where Day is at of having everything crumble before him but also not being seen as everyone else. Day’s mom and Night’s heart is in the right place, but they don’t need to baby him or talk down to him. He’s capable ❤️ It is okay for asking help, because I do all the time. However, I can understand how that can make one feel like a burden which Day is not but it didn’t help Night saying that to him 💔 I love how Mork sees him as person and isn’t afraid to bicker or be blunt with him 😂 Mork will challenge him and show Day that he can do things, Mork will believe in him I just know it 💗 Just like he did with making Day get his library card on his own 🥹 There will be times I’m sure Mork will help Day because he does have limitations but that’s not gonna stop him from living his life ❤️🩹 I’m already emotionally attached to the characters and I’m already dreading when this series ends 😭
My guess is Night was the one who drove the car, he was safe but Day was injured & his eyesight gets gradually worsened. That caused a conflict between the two brothers. Night is emotionally suffered & feels guilty. It is a complicated matter. But it’s just my guess & could be wrong.
Besides what some people have commented here, I also know that electronic monitoring can have schedules so it is "activated" at a specific time of the day when you have to go back home.
This is actually good! Sometimes I'm trying to hold on with a show because sometimes it can be great to binge watch it instead or I will leave in the middle of the show :(
This was so nice 😍 I loved the first episode... Also... I was wondering if anyone who has read the book could tell me whether Day will actually lose his sight in the end or has an operation where he might be able to see again? I know this is a huge spoiler but I would like to know. Also I read somewhere that maybe Day's eyesight will only be temporary gone and it will come back again.... Could it be true or is it only a rumour? 🥺 Can't wait for next week 😭😍😩🙏 Please come fast!
Unfortunately, it's not based on novel or anything. P'Aof, the director created the original story. He was inspired when he saw blind people and their caregivers in rl. He tried to find some novels abt it but failed to find one so he made the story himself. You can watch 'before last twilight' to find out more abt this.
@ReactionsByJavi Good point, but I still have a strange feeling his sister left him somewhere last voice message that we will find in the last episode or flashback. Or maybe I'm just overthinking because I watched too many Korean dramas haha.
@@ReactionsByJavi no, it's mostly the actors and P'Aof taking about the characters, how the series came to be and stuff like that. It has some bts but nothing "too much" imo
He already reacted to that but it's on patron. Don't know if he'll put that on yt too. I'm patiently waiting for that. It's one of my favourite series this year ☹️
I'm glad you mentioned this. I feel you linger... was awesome imho. Neither of these is high-school fluff. Both explore the class issue. Jom and Mhok are common folk. Yai and Day... privileged. Inequity is a sore point in Thailand as the last elections proved... again.
Well they would have to kill him off in the show, so we don’t want that. Cornea transplants are not living donations. Removing the cornea in a living person would blind them so that’s why Mark’s character says it could take up to 10 years to get a match donation from a dead person.
I am Thai. Both Thai & English names do not indicate that way. In fact, they indicate that the visual of Mhok is the last image Day sees in this lifetime. Most importantly, both mock & official trailers show that Day spends the last day with Mhok. Remember doctor says Day needs to have an eye operation within 180 days otherwise his eye nervous system will forever be damaged. That means the sooner the operation is performed, the better the result is. The latest it’s performed, the worst the result is. I don’t think an operation on the last day would bring up a satisfying result. Not to mention Mhok has to die to donate his eyes. Doctors are not legally allowed to take out anyone’s corneas if they’re still alive.
@@Shali1427 You left me lno choice but revealing what the Thai name is … *Never Forget Your Visual* (ภาพนายไม่เคยลืม) Just kidding, don’t take it seriously. My point is the Thai name strictly indicates without any option that Day will end up being blind for life. And Mhok’s visual is the last image he sees & cherishes for the rest of his life. Mhok is still with him. But to see the one he loves with his own eyes, it was that *Last Twilight* that they spent time together while he was able to see things.
@@Shali1427 That would be ethically reprehensible probably criminal to remove the eyes(to get the corneas)of a living person. No legit doctor would do that ,purposely blind someone even if they consented to it.

it's the artistry for me. If in episode 1 we already got all these metaphors, then we know this is a masterpiece.

when people got parole i think, they have ankle monitors until they got fully released
Yea Mhok spent 6 months in jail and a year on parole, his ankle bracelet was probably to make sure he didn't leave the city.
