Sweet room!! I have a half basement full of all my stuff. I have about 3,000 comics right now and a ton of books and toys. But it is a mess. I am getting everything cleaned up now and I am going to get rid of about a 1/3 of things over the next few years.

I too have around 16,000 books. However, mine is made up of about 15,000 two dollar books. LOL. But your video inspired me to redo my collection room. I ordered a bunch of those "long box hotels", because i had been stacking my boxes 3 high. That sucked because the bottom boxes are slowly getting crushed, also i had to move top 2 to get to bottom box.
Ah yes, stacking high sucks if you don't have the shelving. And hey, I have a lot of 2 dollar books too! I love collecting runs so my collection is all over the place.
Hi , the first show that I watched of yours was about comic bags followed by the an AOK mystery box opening from A-1 comics .. and a Jack B box , it got me excited and curios , what all the acronyms meant ,.. OMG Chris , AOK , etc week my Jack B box finally arrived !

Went through your videos do you have a pressing video? I would like to learn how to press a book without destroying it. Please make one since you got tour area set up to press
They work great. My only beef is that they are hard to slide (pull out) when you want to look into them. Sometimes they get caught on the wires and refuse to move. I want to invest in some very think ply or press boards to actually sit on the shelf, so I can set the boxes on top of them for an easy slide.
Thanks for watching! It is a basic "wire shelf." You can get them at Home Depot, or even find some online. The shelf pieces are adjustable. These ones are 14 inches in depth and 36 inches from left to right, and I believe 48 inches tall.

Hey Max! Right now I am really enjoying the current Thor run. Cates' Venom was solid. An easy yet entertaining read. I'm a big Star Wars fan but I'm not liking the current Marvel run at all, but so far the High Republic Series has been intriguing.

@@stephanberger3476 You're absolutely right! I just didn't know if you think that I just didn't take care of the posters and wrinkled them all up! lol. I may do that in the future. I'm not too bothered by it, as when you look at them with the naked eye, you can't really see the creases unless the glare is right on it.
I went up to a hardware store and got nice, flat plywood cut into 6 pieces. I then got many small and a few large C clamps and washers and I got 1 book pressing in 2 of the 6 pieces of wood. I may get more clamps and glue the washers in place. just gotta be careful with older books. can smash the paper or pop staples. I bought this set up because my Batman #89 had some crankles
Thank you! I bought the press on eBay and after shipping I think it was a total of around $120. It started falling apart a month after I bought it, but luckily enough, I've been rigging it to where it still gets the job done, even if not the best. I wouldn't recommend these presses though. I'd save a little more money and go with a clamshell.
Honestly, yes. I worry about dust. Even dust can eat into plastic if you let it sit. And honestly, I don't dust enough in there lol. BUT... I am active in my comic boxes and I do make sure I'm keeping dust off of them. I'm concerned with anything else reall.

Great question! Honestly I don't! It constantly comes down, but I have to constantly dust. I have a few different dusters that work around things differently.
Wow, great question. I've read every single Spiderman comic from every run. Every xmen comic until the mid 90s. Probably over half of all my 80s and early 90s books and much of the silver Age marvel stuff. I would have to estimate around 45%? Which at this point would be closer to 9,000 books.
I have every Superman comic book from 1992 The first appearance of Doomsday and his battle and death with Superman all the way up to late 2007. 15 years of complete set of all Superman title comic books week to week with countless story lines to go along with that including such as Clark and Lois's Wedding. Too, I will add Clark Kent revealing to Lois Lane that he is Superman. What do you think ? I like to sell them all. Would you or anybody be interested ?

Honestly, yes. I worry about dust. Even dust can eat into plastic if you let it sit. And honestly, I don't dust enough in there lol. BUT... I am active in my comic boxes and I do make sure I'm keeping dust off of them. I'm concerned with anything else reall.

Sure! Over 30 years... Probably 33 or 34. I remember the first comic I ever owned and it was between 33 or 34 years ago.

Great question! Honestly I don't! It constantly comes down, but I have to constantly dust. I have a few different dusters that work around things differently.

Wow, great question. I've read every single Spiderman comic from every run. Every xmen comic until the mid 90s. Probably over half of all my 80s and early 90s books and much of the silver Age marvel stuff. I would have to estimate around 45%? Which at this point would be closer to 9,000 books.

I have every Superman comic book from 1992 The first appearance of Doomsday and his battle and death with Superman all the way up to late 2007. 15 years of complete set of all Superman title comic books week to week with countless story lines to go along with that including such as Clark and Lois's Wedding. Too, I will add Clark Kent revealing to Lois Lane that he is Superman. What do you think ? I like to sell them all. Would you or anybody be interested ?
