the camel shootig you mention I was going to say Carry on up the kyhber but it was filmed in the 1960s so it was before you were born. Interesting museum and the narrow gauge railway reminded me of theIsle of Mull narow gauge
Great video TE! Love N. Wales. Betws-y-Coed was a regular trip when we holidayed there as a family, and we always dined in that restaurant overlooking the platform! Happy memories.
Possibly worth checking Josephs Amazing Camels out with regards to the filming that took place around there. Sounds very bizarre! Camels and E Types? Top Gear maybe?
@@ThomasEdward yeah originally. a lot of the deckers tend to stray up north once their time in london is up. im also a bus mechanic of 26 years, and have a huge liking for the stanier black 5.
@ yeah I remember in Kendal all old London buses we use to get but last couple years then been new. One in wales what was build for been slightly longer wheelbase? No way so your steam man too?
@@ThomasEdward yeah im a steam man. great grandad was a loco driver at Normanton. They extend the bus for the middle door, and then when they are transferred north, the middle door is removed and filled in by a window.
Always ride the little train when visiting Betws y Coed , me and the boys used to make it a Ritual for good luck when we did the Dragon Rally on the Motorcycles ,we would booze friday night and Sat morn to sober up Visiting the railway shop and ride the little train and talk to the Old Chap there he always remembers me .Great video as you take interest and look at everything I would ,old Railway Vans to tram OHL insulators ,Grand Job Pal. P.S I always check on that Pullman as well !
@@ThomasEdward I lived there for years before I moved to deepest darkest Wales when I finished on the Railway , Manchester Born and Bread .Great show .
