Thanks, if I remember correctly I think the Ziebart treatment had to be done when the car was new. They tended to rust for England back in those days. Wonder what ever happened to Ziebart?

@@ThomasEdward yeah originally. a lot of the deckers tend to stray up north once their time in london is up. im also a bus mechanic of 26 years, and have a huge liking for the stanier black 5.

@ yeah I remember in Kendal all old London buses we use to get but last couple years then been new. One in wales what was build for been slightly longer wheelbase? No way so your steam man too?

@@ThomasEdward yeah im a steam man. great grandad was a loco driver at Normanton. They extend the bus for the middle door, and then when they are transferred north, the middle door is removed and filled in by a window.

@ThomasEdward I don't do Facecloth so I shouldn't worry too much about it. The last run of the day is normally worth a trip and it looked like it was too!! I've booked the time off work and somewhere to stay so will be heading down from Cumbria. Hopefully the weather will be ok. I will keep an eye out for you!

@@ThomasEdward Heading down on the Thursday and going back on the Sunday. My wife likes All creatures great and small so going for a look around the village where it's filmed. Might do the railway on the Saturday depending on the weather.
