- If you're in the market for a second-hand small SUV then you're spoiled for choice - but two of the most popular options are the VW T-Roc and the Nissan Juke. One's posh and a bit expensive - the other, erm, isn't. But which is actually the best bet? Join Rebecca Jackson for a full in-depth review of the two SUVs, as she compares them on poshness, interior tech, practicality, driving dynamics and value.

One of the reasons I didn't buy a T Roc is at 6ft, I didn't have sufficient leg room in the rear with the drivers seat in my driving position. (My teenaged son has longer legs than my own). VW prioritised boot space over leg room. The T Cross has more rear leg room albeit with a smaller boot.
Good point. And the Juke has more leg room than both - at 6ft too I find it more comfortable than either of the VWs.
How can you compare there is a 2 year gap
Aren't they two different segments 😕??? Juke VS T Cross , not a T Rock 🤷. T rock is a Golf, Juke is a Captur class....
5 foot, 4 and a half. I've never heard you mention that before 😂
Do it again in 10 years, then it will be worth watching.
Is this a fair size comparison? T cross (poor interior) vs juke is the true comparison with both being recently updated? This used car channel is out of date in the 2024 world
Fully agree…….
The T-Cross is the appropriate car for comparison purposes.
Not a very sensible comparison. The T-Roc 1 litre petrol would have been a better choice and closer in price.
Hi, Rebecca 😍
Not worth the money the battery cost more than the car
I'd buy a Skoda Karoq tbh! Oh wait...I actually did!
Nice how is it
@@Top_Gear_Clips_Central so far so good! Fantastically comfortable to drive, light steering, easy to park, all the modern safety tech and just the right size for a small family. Very impressed!
@@rickb314 ah nice nice, so is the boot and passenger space all good?
@@Top_Gear_Clips_Central wouldn't have bought the Karoq if it wasn't. Boot is a very usable space and passenger comfort is excellent. You wouldn't want to be 6'4" in the back for long drives but my two teenagers are both under 5'9" and no complaints about rear legroom. I'm 6'3" and can find enough legroom in the front and the seats are very comfortable.
Ive always called the nissan juke a nissan joke
I've always called VW German junk expensive when they go wrong and they do go wrong my daughter had a VWit cost me a fortune
The Nissan Joke isn't middle of Lidl. It's the JD Williams catalogue with a faint whiff of wee.
Neither they’re both overpriced at best
Juke is horrible! 😂
Just no to Nissan butt ugly and tbe reliabilty is no where near acceptable, they have dropped all the models that had any real appeal (note micra ) the prevoius gen joke had a shelf not a boot. Though SUV in general just annoy me as its just a wsy of charging more for a car based on a platform with other models that are more afgordable space efficient and are sll round better.
Lexus UX still has a shelf!
Skip Nissan , engine will blow out after 50K
Once again, nice to see and hear Rebecca. Neither one of these are sold across the pond in the states. Juke exited when they changed over to the french platform. french cars don't sell here, terrible reputation for reliability and quality. 💯🧐💰🫣🙆🤑🤮
