How sad that Dusty hasn’t had any interest.😢 Glad he has you for now.

Great reviews. I’ve been curious about RuPauls memoir so it was great to hear your thoughts.

Did you have a fun vacation? I'm glad you're back safely. I'm interested in The God of the Woods but don't know when I'll get to it.

In Norway you can actually get up to 12 months of paid paternal leave, it's at least 10 months. It's normally shared between the parents.

Liz Moore is a brilliant author. Nothing generic about her. Her books are all a bit different, too.

Too bad about the duds, but glad you were able to enjoy Heartstopper and the other books!

Hi Becca. I felt the same way about The God of the Woods. I loved everything about it--except maybe the very end. That didn't quite work for me, but other than that, I thought this was a terrific novel. I really love Liz Moore. Have you read her Long Bright River? I also loved that one. Hope you're doing well...

I can confirm, Suspiria is a remake of an Italian movie from the 1970s. I've seen the original, and while I can imagine it's better than the remake, that didn't really push my buttons either.
