If PW had the character photos when they're speaking on Radio like the AC series, I've always imagined Faust would look like a cross between MGS3's The Boss and Black Lagoon's Balalaika. PICTURE IT!

It's probably whatever the heck Monarch got. I assume this because when Bookie says it's not their "Deal" capitalized, potentially hinting at "The Deal". Then you think about what Prez says about The Deal, that it's something no one should have, that it's too much power.
Whatever it was, it was powerful and dangerous enough that the Cascadians kept it secret and hidden from the entire world but grew desperate enough to offer it to a small group of Cascadian mercenary pilots to save them from the Feds. It's gotta be something with overwhelming power. Something that would literally shift the power balance entirely in the mercenaries favor. Which is what both Crimson 1 and Faust were clearly trying to prevent. Faust literally warns that the Mercenaries will use it if they get their hands on it before she dies.

So the DLC ends just as the apocalypse starts in the main story. Meaning it takes place between the bearing straight showdown and the first cordium nuke session. This is further confirmed by the HUD glitching at the end in an identical manner to cordium interference. Because it IS cordium interference.

I think he was, maybe afterwards he was injured and had to go through the academy again to become a Reservist. Was his callsign in that war Canine behind he always found targets?
@@genericname42 Maybe, monarch makes fed and mercs pilots think on the old cabal. Meanwhile, K9 or Driver makes the black eagles think on a demon at the battle of oceania. Tho Driver and Monarch as old foes on the Oceania War its quite the fun idea. ((EDIT: spell mistake))
I'd like to believe that Driver is actually part of the mercs from Oceania and was one of the mercs who betrayed the rest. Maybe the Federation gave him a home in Magadan, but gave him the role of reservist incase shit went south.
Eye-tee does have some lines, you just need to drag the fight out a little longer. Makes a point about how the resistance is pointless and that their children will grow up as Federation citizens

I assume Your the type of person who skips cutscenes and complain a game doesn’t have story? Radio chatter is what made games like ace combat and project wingman so beloved otherwise it just be a story-less forgettable flight arcade game.
