You are always so honest and insightful Emma. That is why we keep listening to you! I have been listening to podcasts for about 8 years and too have seen a change, not always welcome. The podcasts I listen to most are probably How to Fail, The Rest is Entertainment, The News Agents, and yourself. Others such as Table Manners, Happy Place etc will depend on the guest or subject whether I listen. Whilst some of these are heavily produced, they feel like they come from an authentic place! Some time ago I unfollowed some of the podcasts and social media accounts that rely on the click bait thumbnails - glad that some of this is finally being called out and thank you for not shying away from discussing this subject. Some of the guests you have had have been amazing and the discussions really stuck with me (Jen Sincero comes to mind). I have really reengaged with your podcast recently, sometimes on apple podcasts, sometimes on you tube - I am loving your honesty and reflections. Keep doing what you are doing! A random podcast recommendation if that is allowed is the History Chicks - definitely worth a listen for anyone interested in women in history!
I am definitely going to check out History Chicks now. Thank yo. And thanks for your kind words about the show and for your continued support. Jen Sincero is one of my fave interviews too because she wasn't looking for adoration, fans or follows, she just wanted people to benefit from what she'd learned.
Your view point has always been amazing to me, and i'm sorry people are such d*cks. I left facebook because it just became a cesspit or negativity. Your episode with James Smith was awesome, I follow him too and think both of you approach weight loss with honesty that people just don't want to hear. Your peice about the body positivity movement is how i've always felt (i'm not a small person and have struggled with my weight my entire life). You also did an episode (or wrote a piece, can't remember) about toxic positivity which resonated so much because life is not always sunshine and rainbows; let me be sad sometimes, it's human! This particular episode, again, is something people just don't feel comfortable with and I for one appreciate it. I just want to say thank you! Keep doing what you're doing xx
I couldn’t agree LESS! I listen to his podcasts with these experts regularly and many others featuring similar guests. I have NEVER have taken away that one simple lifestyle change can cure anything! That is a complete misnomer. If you actually listened to these podcasts they talk about the plethora of complex environmental triggers that can lead to someone receiving a cancer diagnosis (or any other diagnosis for that matter) and therefore they require an equally complex blend of treatments to cure them. It’s never one size fits all. Remember, often these experts are exactly what they say they are… experts in their particular field who are really, honestly and with complete commitment integrating allopathic medicine with natural therapies to treat all sorts of diseases. We have become obsessed with this term mis/disinformation in the last 4 years. Never mind the fact that there is zero data to ever back up government claims of misinformation. They just discredit, dig up dirt and blatantly lie. IT’S NOT DISINFORMATION ITS JUST INFORMATION. It is incumbent on YOU to use your brain to assess it, like you were taught at school. It’s called critical thinking and is in direct opposition to wilful blindness. Were you aware that the exact same day the BBC broke the story on DOAC the US FDA revoked the licence for the mRNA RSV trial in children due to alarmingly high serious adverse events? I wonder why they published nonsense disinfo stuff about Steven B instead??? It doesn’t take a rocket scientist to see what’s going on…. Don’t look over there look here instead! WAKE UP YOU LOT THEY DO NOT HAVE YOUR HEALTH INTERESTS AT THE TOP OF THEIR AGENDA!
