DIY Pop-up Truck Camper Build (Part 14) Top Rail

Setting the top rail of the camper.
The question is to buy or build, I chose build. Building an overland pop-up truck camper or a pickup pop up as I like to call it. The plan is to have it act like a wedge camper as well as a full pop up. Not doing the vanlife or trucklife so the camper needs to be able to come on and off. It also needs come apart to store in a small space.

I’m building something similar. To avoid the sag just adding a roof rack to hold the weight.
