A little suggestion is I gold leaf the area and then I apply a second coat to make sure there are no cracks or pin holes... I let it dry a couple days and then spin/buff the leaf. Also there is a guy in England who works from home that is magic for free.
He's called the "Happy Gilder" on TH-cam ... he does great work. I've been pin stripping since the 60's and the old saying was if you are learning to pin stripe, you are definitely going to F**K up ... same goes for gold leaf... "Do what you love and Love what you do" ... that's all that matters.

Good job buddy. The only thing I’d tell ya to do differently is before you brush off the excess leaf, 1st use a rubber coated roller to roll over the leaf really good. I think it’ll definitely help that leaf bond to the glue a lot better n avoid the holidays

If u cant find velvet to do the turn on the leafin, use 5000 grit sand paper...its a got a foam backing...get it at ur local autoparts store...i use it and it works better than velvet...i trim it to the size of a quarter and use a little hlue on my thumb and get t tacky so the foam sticks to my thumb...and away u go

What up I came to a conclusion to snatch out the old wire and switch panel and put in a new one it was still having power with nothing connected just touched the ground and the solenoid for the back was clicking

    • @thecadillacdanshow8658

Unhook the wires from you back switches with your motors disconnect and ground hooked up touch each of your switch wires to the switches and listen for a solenoid to click when it does that's where your problem is

@@camefromnuthin6994 I would get a volt meter and use the continuity setting and see if somthing is grounded out if everything looks good try unhooking the wire from your solenoids to the pumps then check if you are getting power through your solenoids. The switch wire could have a short in it sending power to one bank of solinoinds
