I never-ever get tired of watching your videos!!! 2 years ago I was blessed with a tiny little 3 1/2 lb Shorkie (Shih tzu -Yorkie mix). Our Yorkie breeder named her Maisie. When she realized Maisie was not a full bred Yorkie she asked if we wanted her. I was beyond ecstatic! I love this little girl. Right away, I told my family I had to write to May May Helms and tell her I nicknamed my little girl “May-May!” Those close to me know she is named after my favorite crafter… YOU!!!
That's sooo sweet!
I loved that some things were #1- "not new but new to me" and some were #2- 'I had it but hadn't used it." Thanks for reminding that I/we probably have those two categories in our craft stash that need another look.
Yes! I have lots of new things lately but get so nervous about using them.. i need to. Ugh. Lol
I LOVE that you keep all your videos from years ago because I am always going back getting inspiration and one of these days I am actually going to make some of them! 😂 new house, new craft area coming up!
I agree that the Joy is absolutely a game changer. And one of the things I appreciate most about you is that you provide FREE svg files for ALL of your stamps sets. My arthritic hands thank you greatly and so does my pocketbook (no dies needed). 😘
Excellent, Excellent, Excellent Video! I love the Bearly Art Glue, can’t recommend it highly enough. You have given me a whole list of new products to try. Thank you so much!
I have only been in the stamp club a few months. I just learned that she did this in this video. This is info that is game changing.
Yeah! I just learned about this about 2 weeks ago. I don't know any others who include that! I am so happy about this! I won't be buying any more stamps but Maymay's! She just set herself apart from every other stamp maker for me! I have lupus and like arthritis my hands just can't fussy cut. Sure I have dies but then that's another piece of equipment to pull out. My cricut is always on and ready! 😄 I love this concept of Maymay's!
This is a fantastic share of need to have tools. I have about500 rubber stamps. It is so nice to see someone that shares my interest. I just found your channel but I will never lose it! Thank you so much! 💓
I just tried Bearly glue, I usually use Tacky... I ordered another bottle of Bearly. LOVE the small tip, the quick dry, it's my new go‐to after one use!
Maymay, your tutorial on items needed in the craft room was fantastic, your honesty is so refreshing . This will help so many newbies, then people like me, been at it 3 yrs. You nailed it! Tfs.
Hell, it helps people like me and I've been added 15 years! Kind of nice to have a refresher course occasionally go back to things you've forgotten
My favorite watercolor pencils would be a great topic.
I have just started working with Bearly Arts glue and I really love it. I bought the finger blade several years ago, and it still sits in my drawer, I tried it and I think because I have carpal tunnel, it causes my hand to cramp. I really wanted to love it, I really did!
Thanks for the video Maymay. You always describe things the "real way" they work. Always appreciate your videos!
I’ve learned to use a tiny bead of the Bearly Art glue. It’s just an adjustment, but I think it works very well.
Just got my order the other day but haven’t used it yet. How did you like it?
I wanted to let you know that I just realized that you give a free SVG cut out to match your stamps, and can I say you have a new customer like 👏 WOW.
I'm new to watching your videos and am so thankful that I decided to watch this tutorial. Thank you, Thank you 😊, You just saved me so much money in the long run.
Omg Maymay changed my life. Her tutorials are perfect for me! Her little adhd tips like “write the measurements on the paper so you don’t forget.”
Even on older stamp sets?
Thanks so much for sharing this video! I would like to see the JOY and how it works. Blessings and Hugs from Canada!
I don’t who recommended bearley art glue to me, but, dang, I love it!
I LOVE my smaller fatter bone folder like you showed. I prefer that one over any of them. I am also a faithful user of the bearly art glue.
I have several cricuts and a scan cut 2, so I have put off getting a joy. I think after seeing this, I will get one. They are one a space saver and can stay out on my desk but also a space/money saver if I don't have to buy so many dies. I have a ton of dies already and inherited my mom's when she passed away a few years ago. I hate dragging out the cutting machine, plates, etc.
Thanks for all of your helpful insight to help us crafters become more efficient.
I have a mini trimmer too. It’s my must have for small paper crafts.
I love Bearly Art Glue…it gives you more “wiggle room” for placement! I have been using it only ever since I started paper crafting over a year ago! 😃
The reason it does that is because it's water content is higher 😊
The Teflon bone folder is a real game changer. I bought my years ago and yes it was expensive but it is the only bone folder I use to burnish my score lines. All the others leave shiny streaks on your cards and I hated that. Thanks for sharing your videos and the free svg’s.
That little cutter is too stinkin cute!
I have been like looking at the joy trying to decide thanks now I’ll get it
Agree whole heartedly regarding glue. So many craft buddies say why do you use glue? So easy compared to sticking tape down and peeling off. I love how I know it so well as you said. Exactly how much to use on whatever I need it for. Haven't been able to source Bearly Art in Australia so "sticking" to my Art Glitter...
So informative...even to a seasoned paper crafter. Thank you! Have added several of these items to my “need to have” list!
I love Bearly Art glue! I have never had an issue with drying time.
Die sets are mega expensive, and they take up a ton of space. I have a lot of dies, and a big amount of money invested in them. Wish I had found you before I started crafting
P.s. Love that cricut cutter is 13 inches, Can cut paper corner to corner completely with ease.
The small paper trimmer is the cutest. I must have one too!!
Thanks for all the recommendations MayMay ❤️
I always love to hear your thoughts on products! TFS. 💙💙💙
Please give us a class with the cricut joy.
I’ve been loving the mini trimmer for photos too! Trimming down some photos for mini albums and pages and whatnot.
I'm so glad you talked about the Bearly Art glue, because that's what I've been using all along. Never heard of the Art Glitter Glue (why do they call it "glitter" glue? That's so confusing) until I started watching your channel, and I've been wondering if the one was better, so this comparison is really helpful!
I love the finger blade. And art glitter glue
I found I have MOST of these products already for a multitude of projects. So yay me! LOL. Great little video showcasing your top faves. I know I certainly have mine and you helped me to see I might just need to FINALLY try that bearly glue. Very informative, good job. Thank you for the input.
I LOVE that bone folder set!!!
I so enjoy watching your "favorites" videos.
I have both flies but use Bearly Art pretty much all The time now.
This is absolutely my FAVORITE CHANNEL EVER!!!!!
Thanks Maymay! Always such great and practical info. I do more fine art now…but still do and love my paper crafting too, so I like to keep up with “best tools” and all. 👍😀
I just bought the teflon bone folder from your shop. Love it! I also love my finger blade. Good tools!
Will you do a video on how to use the dish ok lines, circles and shapes on a craft mat. I know how to use the inch squares, but the other lines are challenging
I am new to the paper crafting so I don't have years worth to stuff. November will be my 1 year anniversity. :) Discouvering that you offer the free SVG has be buying from your stamp sets as my first look. I am techie by nature but dont' wan't to have to design my own SVG for stamps I have purchased from somone else. Kind of irks me that "like" the stamp set? Oh, here's the die to go along with so it now an expensive decision. I am not a fussy cutter. My Cricut Maker started this whole experience. I would even purchase the SVG files if offered. I so appreciate that you go that extra mile and have them available. That really defines to me a retailer that meets a need and creates loyalty. Thank you.
Thanks for sharing all your favorites!!
Great video. I always love watching “my favorite tools” videos. I’m just glad I live close enough that you don’t have to ship my glue because AGG is the bomb diggity.
Love the new products Maymay! Thanks for making paper crafting so exciting!
Yes, you're right, about how to peel that tape off!! Even painters' tape has killed my projects. I finally learned. 😏
The joy is my favourite craft tool ❤️
WOW these are all great cards!! Your videos are so very inspirational!! TFS
I have some of those items that you showed. I love ❤️ my Bearly Arts glue. It is easy to squeeze if you have CRPS or arthritis or Carpal Tunnel syndrome in your hands. I also have the new Misti. Love 💗 it. I have the finger blade too. Amazing it is. I also have a tag punch that makes three sizes of tags 🏷 love it as well. I have a We R Memory Keepers paper trimmer that can cut paper up to 14 inches long.
What if you did a video on your favorite Stamps, dies, and stencils.
Thank you for sharing your videos
Love the dress my craft with a 6 inch bed. Rarely have to open the arm. Really convenient. 👍👍👍The art glitter glue remains my fav. Fast drying with tons of grab! I used to use the marvy picker but switched to a wax head nail tool. Keeps stick longer. Course if I had 2 marvy (use 1 while other is drying) that would work. Great choices.
Where do you buy/find the nail tool?
What is the little jewel you have in the top of your glue bottle? It’s a bead with a dangle off it. I have the original MISTI & have always added a piece of Washi tape doubled over several times on the door to make a handle to open it.
The mini trimmer at 24:44 is brilliant, but the ones I have is identical in a different brand - I love them so much I'd brought the bigger one of the same brand as the mini, never looked back since. The mini ones doesnt have rubber feet so it moves when I tried to trim it, until I found a solution is place a Grip Mat under it and now it doesnt move so much whilst trimming.
Love This 14 Items To Add To Craft Room Stash! 🤩🤩🤩
Thank You for sharing Girl!
Thank you for sharing this! Will definitely be trying the gem holder and the bone folder. Adding the Cricut Joy to my wish list!😊
Super impressed with that mini trimmer
Great tape advice!
Thank you for all the great information-really value your insights!💕
I have had my fiskars exacto knife since 2002…still the original one and its my all time favorite ! I did not see the Bearly glue link you mentioned in the video. Tfs!!! Hugs -Christine
This was a great watch thankyou
I got the Dress My Craft trimmer this year and love it! I took a thin black Sharpie and wrote “cut” on the orange blade and “score” on the white one so I won’t use the wrong one…which I have done.
You explain things well and I learned quite a bit! Thank you, Debbie Smith
I love the Bearly Art glue so much! I have used both and it is my favorite!
I love my finger blade! I am a lefty. I also have lost strength and dexterity in my hand but I can use this and my hand doesn't get as tired.
Ive wanted to try it. I'm a lefty too but don't like left handed tools but that seems like it wouldn't matter.
TFS MayMay! Always love hearing others faves compared to mine. Hugs my crafty Sister XOXOXO
Keep going I love it. Thank you Maymay.
I have the dress my craft ergo bone folder, and I like it a lot. I am going to get one of their other ones as well. I use that craft knife already and it is fantastic! I have yet to ever get a misty. I think now may be the time to get one. The new misty seems particularly great! Thanks for showing us these products.
Wow only just starting watching and thanks for the tip about removing sticky tape.
Too fun! Great information!
Birthday gift list! Thank you
Very helpful information. Thank you for sharing. Have a Blessed New Year!
like your ideas of tools you like, I will try that Bearly Art Glue but love my Art Glitter Glue, thank you
Yay thanks for the ideas! I need to get some yellow tape!
I myself have the older Nuvo, l do like them.. l'll have to buy some of the new, to compare. Hello, from Carolann, Minnesota
Thanks for sharing these items.. I got the Cricut Joy last year and haven’t used it as yet.. Will be checking your Video using it with SVG’s..
Use it!! So many ppl closet them and I don't know why! I just got the Maker. Wanted one for years.. haven't put it down so much as a day! You'll love it!
The 13” cutter came out because the smart material for the Maker 3 is 11” wide on a 13” carrier.
Do you have more control with the finger blade?
I definitely prefer AGG to Bearly Art. I feel like Bearly is runnier. I keep it just in case and don’t hate it. I just prefer what I know. Like you, I know my Art Glitter Glue inside and out.
Try using the smaller tip, at first I thought it was too runny, but changing to the smaller tip made it perfect!!
Thanks. Lots of new stuff
Love your videos could tell me where I can find your paper craft/card making?!??? Thanks for sharing 👍
Hello you can shop for craft supplies in our store at maymaymadeit.com thanks
I have glitter glue, love the adhesiveness, but it clogs all the time cause I don't use it daily, or even weekly. What can one use to insert into the end like the fine tip liner bottles have? I love your jeweled end, btw!
I only just found you... and I love you.
Aww thanks!!!
Yes, the Bearly Art glue is amazing. All I used was AGG since I found and follow you. But for some reason I’m having trouble with it always getting stopped up, I’m religious about putting my pen in, I don’t know what is wrong. Thanks for all the great tips, I’m pleased to say I have majority of them. QUESTION: Are the Nuevo markers better than the spectrum noir?
The Nuvo markers are a fabulous way to start with learning alcohol marker coloring or if you don’t color images often, Spectrum Noir are great for the next level up. The big difference is price point and refills. Nuvo is a great price point but not refillable. But you won’t be sad with either markers, thanks
Spectrum markers quality is iffy though
I really enjoyed watching your video. Do you have any plan on bringing back the art jewelry things? I’ve had several people ask me about them.
Great review of these tools. I’ve been wondering about the Bearly Art glue. I’m thinking I need to take the plunge on the Nuvo markers. Glad you “shucked it down to the cob” for us. 😂😂 ❤️
You can take the girl outta the country….but you can’t take the country outta the girl! Although, I’m smack dab in the country!!! Lol
@@MaymayMadeIt me too! Living the dream!
I’m curious, I realize you love the joy for your Svg’s and more, but I’m curious can the same thing be done AS EASILY on the maker?
Yes, I just love the joy cause it sits in my craft desk and takes up no space.
I wish I could use the Fiskars but I gave mine away due to pain in the joint where the bottom of the thumb meets the palm. (Not wrist.) But if that wasn’t an issue due to overuse, it would be great.
Thank you for making your videos
Just finished watching, thought you may od tried the bottle of UN DO I sent you back in October. Not sure if you received it or have tried it, but I think it is something every crafter should have, we all make mistakes and how wonderful ti fix it without ruioningyour card. Great info in your vidio.
I bought a scan and cut after a family talk me into I love it but need to learn more about it which that family member was going to teach me ! But never happened so please do a video on that before I sell it lol
“No I did not turn into a giant” 😹❤️ thank you May May this video was awesome and that line made me laugh so hard 🥰
Great thoughts.. thanks.
Really helpful video. Thanks!
AMAZING THAT YOU GIVE THE SVG files, wow !! 👍
Great information. Thanks
Question about the charm/pin that you use in your glue tip. What would you call these, and do you carry in store?
Hi, we no longer carry the Stopper Topper in our store, thanks
Hello there, I am totally new to all those machines, Is internet required to use the joy?😧
Do you sell the magnets separately for the Misti?
Hi we do sell them separately, here is that link: Bar style:bit.ly/3pMsukf
and the round style: bit.ly/3GBiPD6
I love my Dress MY Craft trimmer. I like the fact that it goes to 6 inches without opening the arm. It is my favorite now.
Great video. What is the cute glue stopper thingie you use on the Bearly glue?
Hi that is a Stopper Topper, you can search for those on Etsy, thanks
MayMay forst and foremost I want you to know you and your family are in my thoughts and prayers 🙏🏼since the loss of your momma. 💝 could you please do a video about home laminators?! We had a Christian school and I have access to a commercial laminator (like you would have someone at a teacher store laminate items for you for a price by the foot). I would like to get a home one that uses the pouches for projects I do not want to wait to do. Thank you and God bless!
I’ve never knew about this so you might as well be speaking Greek !! I got the leaves but what do you use this technique on???? Interested but don’t see what you use it on except ( I’m guessing ) scrap work things!!?? Linda
