    Hi Anne, I have learned that if you make a video it will be first class, informative, clear and full of useful information! This video is no different, full of honest, clear information to help us Crafters! You have been crafting for a very long time and have become in my eyes someone who gives us, clear, honest and useful tips and more information to help us get the most out of our craft stash so we don't waste any money or time! I have followed you for a long time and in my eyes, you are knowledgeable, give honest constructive criticism, and are a brilliant crafter, all rolled into one, and I am sure I am one amongst many subscribers and followers among many! Thank you so much Anne for what you do for us! Best wishes, from South Gloucester, U.K.

But I resumed, and had to buy same platform, a score board, envelope maker and a new die cutting machine. I have Sizzix BS and the Plus...love them. I bought your gem stick thingee, and X cut punch to get both effects. Def have lots of stylus tips...and your glass mat ...best ever surface mat, I've had so many itove this glass one. Through a livetime of crafting, I think I started in preschool, I collected a lot of tools. So the most ones you meantioned I already own a while. I am not sure what for Id need a crop a dile. I have the quite strange tools from Fiskars, that work loud with a spring. Maybe I will get me a big bite someday.
    I have that ATG gun, but the last two refills didnt work well and they got sticked on themselfes, what I had to fix quite often, the refills are also not cheap at all so I just use small gluesnails from “Japan plus“ or whatever they are named. It leaves a lot plastic waste, so still not my happy solution.
    Thank you for your video. I love how you came right to the point and didnt talk a lot bla bla. Great, go on please

    Hi Ann, I saw another video of yours and then wandered to this one. I'm addicted to buying craft tools/gadgets...I think I buy more than I craft and have for decades. LOL! But I did see you use the Xcut and ran over to Amazon to take a look-see even though I have the WRMK corner chomper (various different shaped ones) and the WRMK corner rounder as well as another corner rounder. I love the fact that yours does both the rounded corner and the reverse. I wanted to get that Tim Holtz stamping platform years ago when there was controversy with the Misti as I thought it's superior to the Misti by far and cheaper.

    I also love the ATG, but use a lot of double-sided tape when I make albums and such. But I LOVE my Scotch Quick Dry Adhesive with the red tip (it's now rebranded as the Scotch Tacky Glue and has a mediocre white tip). I did put it into those little glue bottles with the needle noses for fine work and it works awesome!

    Ann. You are a star and this video came on just the right day. Been searching for a ticket corner punch for a while, had narrowed ir down to one that cost £12 odd and the wrmk corner chomper (even more expensive). I was going to order one or the other today - but -I have had that X cut corner rounder for yonks and had no idea it was also a ticket punch. Just tried it and it's perfect. Thank you so much.x

    As you were going through the list I was going yes, yes, have that, have similar lol. Must admit my 3 favourites that I have are the Woodware paper trimmer (got on your advice), the Crop-a-Dile and yes what that will go through is ridiculous. Hubby's hide belt which has broken lesser punches it went through like it was butter and, a teflon bone folder as it doesn't leave a shiny patch after burnishing. x

    I have the crop-a-dile and love it too. Also have the crop-a-dile big bite. It’s great for lots of sheets of paper or cardstock or thick chipboard and is great if you have grip issues. My favorite corner rounder is the WeR because like the crop-a-diles it goes through thicker chipboard or several sheets of paper at once.

    I so agree with you on the envelope punch board, it's a great thing to have, got mine a few yrs ago and use it all the time. Also got an ATG gun recently for £1 at a car boot sale and a crop o dile in the case with all the bits for £15 on marketplace. I don't get great results with my Tim Holtz platform, maybe because of the arthritis in my hands so use a Crafts Too one which now has a broken hinge that's super glued lol. Great video xx

I had the ATG gun at one point, but couldn't figure out how to refill -plus the size didn't work for me. I have a Spellbinders 6 and Sizzix machine- and recently got the Spellbinders with the 8" platform- it folds up and I love it!! I have about 4 different paper trimmers- I didn't know Woodware had one. My one "regret" purchase was the Minc laminator - used it a few times and now it's in a cupboard. TFS I enjoy watching you.

    Ann, great list. I did want to point out the smallest end on the long scoring tool is best when you need your ruler to score a line, and you are not on a mat of some kind, or surface that gives a bit to score on. A sharp pointed score tool will leave a great crease for like the fold line on the back of a fold bag for example. I have a tri set by another company with each end having a different size ball on the end.

    • @Cards4Cancer
      @Cards4Cancer 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      On the gel pens Sakura has a line that is called glaze pens the white one writes a bit milky, but dries a clear gloss. The black one is perfect for critter eyes with a bit of black shine.
      On the scissors fiskars has a spring assist pair of scissors and they absolutely are the best for fussy cutting. I could not live without them. 💞

    Your paper trimmer is beautiful, but I personally am not a fan of those types of trimmers because of having to change the cutting pad. I still have one from Fiskars from like 20 years ago when the cutting pads were getting too pricy for me. LOL! But I do love the Fiskars Surecut Deluxe and the Fiskars Procision trimmers (this one is a great investment as you never have to replace any parts!). Both of those are awesome in different ways. I've always eyeballed the Cutterpillar and may still get it someday. As far as glue guns, a million years ago when I thought I used glue guns a lot, I got the Aleene's Ultimate Cordless Glue Gun Kit. I loved that it's cordless as the corded ones get in the way and dig this...it comes with 4 tips!

    The Scotch ATG is for righties and very difficult for lefties to use because of the way the tape lays on the roller that touches the paper. The tape lays on the left of the front most roller and lefties would need it on the right. I have written to Scotch and they could care less. I got rid of mine.

    I have pretty much everything you showed. Some of my brands are different but your list is definitely helpful to a new crafter or even a refresher for us experienced crafters. Ordered the corner rounder because mine are hit or miss with quality. Looking forward to getting it.
    The flat “broken” bone folder you showed is one of my favorites! It is amazing for really thick folds. And it’s Teflon, so no shiny spots. Never heard of Woodward, but I’ll check it out. Maybe it’s not a brand sold in the US.
